I have used my Corvus twice now. I upgraded from a meridian 10 to gain the extra living space, as we have a disabled daughter, and need that bit more room. I find it an excellent tent that meets all of our needs. We got the tent, side canopy, front porch and the carpet from the net for about £460 so I was well pleased with the price. The last time we put it up was in high winds so it was a bit tricky. Another couple saw that we were struggling and came to help but once we got it nice and tight with the guy ropes it was fine. That night the wind blew in gusts and we were all a bit worried as it was hitting the side of the tent and the roof was bowing in about 2 foot. I put storm pegs in all the guys, the tent just stood there and took it. Brilliant. I would defiantly recommend this tent.

I fell in love with the space and light in this tent at an exhibition, came back and checked the reviews on this site. I was almost put off by the fact it seemed difficult to put up as this was our first tent! But, I looked around again and still preferred the Corvus so bought it. We went for a trial run in a local park as we didn't have room in the garden, followed the manufacturers instructions - and struggled! My partner has never been camping and he was cursing me. However, I logged back on this site, did a search and was pleased to see some postings on how to put this tent up. Next time we followed these and had no problems at all. We took it away last weekend and again it went up easily, stayed put and no problems with the door not closing properly, or the groundsheet coming up. The space inside is wonderful, particularly the large bedroom as my partner is well over 6ft tall and didn't fit in a lot of the others. We can't wait to go again and have been searching for sites that are still open.

Just got back from our first camping trip to Malvern. The Vorvus is our first tent and are very pleased with it. When we arrived it was very windy and a struggle to put tent up. We managed to put most of it up then 2 blokes from next pitch helped finishing it off, which we are very grateful. But if had to, could of done it without assistance. The lesson we learnt was to pitch the side up first that faces into the wind to act as a wind breaker then pitch rest one section at a time. When pitched it was great loads and loads of room. When it came to taking it down it was still a bit windy as forecast. Wind was hitting front so we started taking rear down first and this worked a treat, no worries. Only down side was the instructions are a bit vague, but worked out what the extra poles were for, canopys over the side doors. TENT IS BRILLIANT ! cant wait for next time

Hi just joined and I am regenerated camper, last time was 6 years ago (3days camping) with a Andre Jamet Frame tent and before that 12 years ago with older now gone girlfriend.

Have new family now 3 children and girlfriend, so thought hey try camping again, she wasn't sure, so we bought a Gelert Beyond Corvus 6+2 tunnel tent and WOW worth every penny. Been away to the lakes had rain nearly everyday, except Saturday just gone was the best day. Air show on and a fun fair. Anyway the tent, it was brill had a few practice runs on local field to get the hand of setting up, where things go. Loads of room for my 3 kids age 8 girl, 6yrs boy and age 2 little girl, bedrooms are large. Its great that you can move the front bedroom if you require for even more room.

It rained harder, then I thought the tent would leak, I was dreading waking up in a swimming pool(or lake) but not even a leak or drop anywhere! I had a friend make me some 12 inch pegs, as I knew it would be windy but not as wet as it was to be honest. I agree with the side porch a little tricky but after the practice runs early this month it gets easier as with everything.

I would have like a longer porch on the front with more see through windows, like the Outwell Arkansas porch and not on the side with the Corvus. There is not much difference between them both (Indiana and Corvus) Anyway as for the tent excellent, cant wait to go again in the next 4 weeks.

Excellent tent but no good for short period due to the energy needed to erect although I have the porch and canopy. The porch being the most fiddliest when trying to get the roof to sit true over the top of the main tent. Time to put up main tent is about 45 minutes then 15 mins re tensioning for 1 person. The groundsheet problem as previously mentioned is due to width of down poles not being correct, or there are tensioners on the ring and pin system that need adjusted. This should fix it, note always peg the g sheet and fly sheet last, do the poles and guys first to ensure the ground sheet is true. Agree not an easy one due to size but once up correctly it is very stable and is the best family tent I've had ever although also agree they should have included all round zips on all 3 doors !

We are a family of 4 and it took us a long time to decide on the right tent, but as soon as we saw the corvus we fell in love, it had all the space we needed and more!We have put it up twice and are now not quite so enthusiastic. The main issue is that you can't seem to get the groundsheet and fly to peg low enough to the floor so any wind goes straight underneath. As a result the groundsheet balloons a foot up inside of the tent and turns into a 'bouncy castle'! Also does not have enough protection on the front door zip, a token piece of velcro holds the flap shut and gives up straight away when the wind picks up. So when it rained water came in the front door zip, also leaked on a couple of seams. Overall loads of space and the bedrooms are fantastic. But disappointed with the design/pegging of the fly/groundsheet.
