Brilliant tent, loads of space to sit and watch world go by through windows if rainy! Just myself and hubby but room for double airbed in living area for few nights if needed. Easily spend a week or more in it, ours just broke, 2 of the steel poles and 1 fibreglass but in 84mph gales on exposed Shell Island after rolling 3 times. It has never leaked once even in severe downpours and we have been able to order new poles. Easy to erect

Bought this tent this year to upgrade from previous tent that served its purpose for us to try camping see how we liked it, as you can gather we loved it .

Just been away for 4 days in the new Carolina WOW the space was great we had a double airbed and sleeping mat in bedroom for 2 adults and 1 child with still enough room for clothes storage, the room in the living area and head height is amazing compared to our last tent .

We have now booked 2 weeks away and cant wait to go just to use the tent to its maximum.

We had some very hot weather in the 4 days and having 2 doors was able to keep the tent cool the advantage of the inner net doors meant you didn't walk into lots of bugs at night.

This is the 2010 version of the Outwell Carolina 3 now named Carolina M (its comes in 3 sizes). We purchased this tent a week ago due to its spacious living area and relative ease at putting it up. We had it laid out, put up, pegged out within 25minutes in good weather and could probably do it quicker.

It is a 3 man tent and we had 2 adults a child and a toddler and it was cosy with no area for storage in the bedroom area but enough space for a double and a single airbed. There are storage pockets at the side of the beds within the inner lining for books etc, We had no complaints with the sleeping arrangements.

The living area is HUGE for a 3man tent and could quite easily be used as a communal area if you are camping with a couple of friends. The windows let in an awful lot of light and heat but they can be closed off at any time, it has 2 doors one large one at the front which we never opened and a side door which we used and you can also buy a canopy for this side door to avoid getting rained on when in use.

We were subjected to some heavy rain and wind during our weekend away and it stood up well, we only had to adjust the pegs which was understandable due to the soft ground and in no way detrimental to the tent.

Overall this is an extremely good tent which we replaced from a Vango Icarus 500 (also good but smaller living area) and are very pleased with it the only gripe we have is the side and front door don't zip all the way around and are fastened with velcro at the bottom which got a bit drafty but then we did camp in April!

Brilliant tent - first time out was easily erected by us two camping virgins in the New Forest last 'summer'. Loved the space and especially the living area with proper headroom and plenty of space for table and chairs when it rained. Well finished seams with no leaks whatsoever during the torrential rain that we experienced for our first week camping.
