We bought this tent as we wanted to stand up,even in the bedroom, which makes for easier dressing. We were able to store clothes, food and odds and ends in the enclosed smaller bedroom. It was extremely windy when we erected the tent for the first time, but we managed it successfully-easy to put up and take down.Would be even better if it had a sewn in ground sheet.

I love this tent.

My sister and I needed a tent that was very easy to put up and which was spacious and roomy.

I have owned previous Outwell tents - Kansas 3 and a Pop up and love both of them so went for another Outwell.

3 rods one coloured red - it's a doddle to erect even for us two (we are not the greatest at erecting tents.), but erecting this made us look as if we knew what we were doing to campers looking on !

Felt really proud that we erected it easily ourselves and it stood up to a night of horrendous winds on a cliff top in Cornwall - albeit the delta pegs anchoring it down.

No leaks, light and airy, 2 biggish windows, plenty of entrances including an open door in one of the sleeping pods means that you can fall asleep looking at the stars on a nice night.

Packing up was a doddle too and that's usually a nightmare, all folded up easily and went into the sack -like bag which opens at the top like a sack and makes it all much easier to pack away.

I haven't given it 10/10 because I was disappointed to see that it did not come with the 2 poles to open the front out like a canopy - apparently I have to pay £20 for these. I thought they came as a standard, so we missed out, in glorious weather, in not having the front up.

Memo for next year as I will probably end up buying a pair.

A really excellent tent which we were both very well pleased and delighted with.

The ease of erection and packing it away has made our camping almost stress free. I can recommend it highly.

This is our first family tent, purchased from EBay after my wife did a lot of research.

We're new campers so it's hard to compare, but this seemed easy to put up once we figured it out. It took an hour to put up, and I'm sure next time it'll be much quicker.

There's plenty of space inside. The living area would easily fit a table and chairs, and it opens up on three sides, so there's plenty of options.

The sleeping area is divided into two which would comfortably fit two people each (ie four in total).

The only negative is that there's no sewn-in groundsheet for the living area.

We really liked this tent and we're off for a longer break at the end of August, so we'll see how that goes.

I spent a lot of time researching tents, both on the internet and in the flesh, before deciding to go for the Oregon 5.

My requirements were: easy to pitch, High HH, good quality, room for 4 to sit down on chairs in the porch. My other half's requirements: It's got to be green.

Just got back from the first trip to the Brecon Beacons, and I have to say that I was chuffed to bits with the tent, from the layout, to the excellent quality zips, to the 'dayglo' guy ropes. I would recommend this tent to anyone (although I don't really want anyone else having one.!)

The smaller sleeping area made an excellent storage area/pantry, leaving loads of room for a table and 4 chairs in the capacious 'porch'. Can't wait to go out in it again, now!

Felt the need to replace our Kyam Explorer recently with a tent with sitting space and head room it, was toss up between a Vango Venture 500 (2007 model, bought and returned with faults) and the Outwell Oregan 5. The Outwell is luxurious for two c/w kitchen sink and dog, easy to erect and dismantle, has excellent storage pockets in the porch and sleeping areas, but its only downside is the lack of sewn in groundsheet for the front area. This would have secured the dog as well as preventing any water ingress. I was impressed though with its capability to withstand almost gale force winds during the late May bank holiday weekend. Overall very pleased with our purchase.

I've an Oregon 4 rather than the 5 detailed above, and have used it 6 or 7 times in the past couple of years. It can easily accommodate 3 adults (or 2 with bags) and there's plenty of space in the living area for relaxing and storage, even though you can't stand up in it. It's also simple and doesn't take long for 2 to erect. The only issue we've had is the side door opening during heavy winds last year, which was pretty drafty!

We bought our Oregon 5 last year and it is ideal for two adults with alot of stuff! The pockets on the bed pods are very useful for storage, as are the fact that there are 3 doors which allows us to choose which view we would like.

The only down side we feel is the lack of SIG in the living area allowing draughts to come in.

We bought the Oregon 5 this year.

The 1st time we went camping we had a 3 man tiny tent from Argos. The 2nd time we bought one of ebay that was like a house, far too big!

We chose carefully this time visiting a few different shops and checking others out on-line.

We chose the Oregon 5, in a word its FAB!

Really easy to put up, just 3 poles, 2 grey ones and a red one for the middle, the guy lines are attached to the tent and just roll back up when you have finished.

There are 2 bedrooms which unizip into one if needed, the smaller side also has its own door. Its well ventalated and stood up to very bad wind and rain up on the West Yorkshire Moors! There are about 12 mesh pockets to store stuff in, and also pockets in the bedrooms, there are also loops inside the bedrooms so you can hang clothes up.

We also bought the Footprint which is a ground sheet for under the bedrooms and a carpet that is the exact size of the living area. We have only used it once and just used the side roll up door, it was too windy to open up the front of the tent. Loads of sleeping/storage and living space and plenty of headroom.

We have booked 3 more camping trips and can't wait to use it again. It all fits into an adjustable bag with handle and shoulder strap, it is heavy but its a well made easy to use tent!

I would definitely recommend buying this tent!

We bought our tent so that when we had children we would have more room. I was surprised at the ease of erection, however I doubted the 3 poles would support the tent sufficiently. The first time we camped was in North Wales, atop a cliff. The wind wasn't overly strong but it was gusty, inside though, we felt nothing and didn't even have a ripple in the tent sides. I'm 6ft 6in and the fact that I can stand up and walk around in the tent is a great bonus for me. The overall size and layout is fantastic for two to four people and I would, and have recommended this tent to all my friends. The only reason I didn't vote it ten out of ten was because of it's packed weight. Still can't have everything!

We bought this tent as we wanted something roomy and easy to pitch for the 2 of us when we go away. We used it twice within a month last year and it was everything we wished for, sadly on both occasions we never got the option to open it all up for all to see as it was raining on both occasions, the 2nd time it was also very windy.
The tent stood up to the conditions very well and is light and airy even when closed up. We like the layout of the bedroom as it is split into a 3 and a 2 berth, we use the large berth for our double airbed and leave the smaller berth for storage thus keeping the main living area uncluttered.
