What more can I say than this is one fantastic tent. We spent many hours walking round tent shows looking at tents and came down to Bear Lake 4 ot Wolf Lake 5 and eventually decided on the Wolf Lake as due to the bigger bedrooms and boy did we make the right decision.
After spending 2 weeks in the South of France in the tent I still cannot find any faults. It stayed much cooler that our old nylon tent and due to the fab window and door configurations we could let plenty of air through the tent whilst keeping mesh windows closed. It is a light airy tent with a really open feeling to it and would recommend it to anyone. We are a family of 4 and I would say it was the perfect size to enable plenty of space without feeling as though your in a void.
Finally I have to add that as we were away so long in France we did decide to splash out on the side canopy for a cooking area and shade if needed and it was well worth it. Although it is quite big and heavy when packed it was worth the squeeze to get it in as it really did make a difference.

After deliberating for weeks between the Bear lake 4 and Wolf lake 5, we eventually went for the Wolf lake 5. We thought that the extra room in the bedroom for bags etc would be worth it and it was. There is nothing that I can think of to criticise about this tent. Everything about the tent has been thought about and it shows.
It is easy enough to put up, it does need 2 people though -1 to hang on to the tent to keep it upright and the other to run about pegging it initially, after that its plain sailing. Even when taking the tent down we found it surprisingly hassle free, never having had a bath tub groundsheet before I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to sweep the groundsheet of the annoying sand/bits of grass that never goes away when you camp!-Just unzip the groundsheet and sweep away outside!
I did wonder whether I would find the full canopy a bit restrictive (on views etc) but the only time it bucketed down on our recent holiday we sat under it well sheltered and we could see plenty.
The bedrooms are airy ( I have hated memories of the stuffy bedrooms of the tents from my childhood)plenty of ventilation. There are enough configurations of doors and windows to please nearly everybody for privacy/airyness/access.
The only downside if I have to be picky about something is the weight and bulk of the tent, but we knew that from the start and we accept that.

We have just come back from our first EVER camping experience and we are hooked! Obviously having a Wolf Lake 5 is a big plus point. This is an extremely user friendly, comfortable, well thought out tent, there was quite a lot of rain whilst we were away and we didn't have any problems. Easy enough for myself and my partner to put up (thought it would be a nightmare,) ideally does need 2 people as the tent itself is quite high. Also this is a heavy tent so you should allow for 2 people when moving it about (my partner hurt his back the first time he moved it! Typical man, didn't want any help!) Looking forward to lots more camping trips, we are sold on this malarkey!
