We had a fair few worries over this Tent as we had been told it was rubbish and not good value for money.

We used it for the first time in July this year and were really pleased with it.

It took about an hour to pitch but it was very windy, however it was really easy to put up.

We were also surprised at how big it was, the large living area had enough room for our 4 seated picnic table and 4 folding picnic chairs.

The 3 bedrooms were also large, we managed to get 3 airbeds in one of the rooms with a little room to spare, you could get 4 in but it would be a bit tight. Having 3 doorways means that in hot weather it gives plenty of airflow and stayed nice and cool.

We had good weather but the tent stood up to a very windy night.2 other tents on the site collapsed! We also had a few hours of heavy rain, the tent was fully watertight(not 1 leak!). We took some friends with us who have now gone and got the same tent but not at half price, we got ours when it was half price in Argos in May, they bought one last week and got it for £189.00.

Overall I would say this tent is really good value for money, just as good as all the expensive tents out there.

We own this tent and have used it on many occasions, we also bought it when it was half price and so have had more than our moneys worth out of it. It takes two of us to pitch it in about 25 mins, we have also managed to pitch it in windy weather, this obviously took longer but is managable, we went camping at Easter this year, with a group of family and friends, ours was the only one that stood up to the snow, wind and rain, all in all this is an excellent value for money tent. I agree with other comments in that it is a large tent however this allows for plenty of freedom and space.

We purchased the Pro-Action Canberra tent when it was half-price in Argos, so it only cost just over £100 which I think is a great price for such an enormous tent.

It took 2 of us about an hour to put up the first time, it is fairly straightforward with colour-coded poles to help. Due to its size I think it could be a struggle to put up in a strong wind but we managed without any problems. The instructions were easy to follow and when we took the tent down it fitted back into the carrying bag without too much difficulty.

There is a large living area in the middle of the tent (with detachable groundsheet) and 3 bedrooms leading off. We only slept 2 to a room, you could get 4 in on airbeds at a squeeze but it would be a tight fit.

There are 3 doorways on the tent which meant that it is easy to get a pleasant airflow through in hot weather.

I haven't used the tent in wet weather so can't comment on how waterproof it is.

The main drawback with this tent is that it is too big for a lot of campsites which have premarked pitches - at over 8 metres long and over 7 metres wide it takes up a huge amount of space when pitched.
