Bought this because I liked the size and the price. Very simple to put up but recommend by two people.
Extremely spacious. Kept us nice and dry and warm in the evenings when it cooled down a little. I would recommend it to anybody.
There are only the two of us but we use the large pod as our bedroom, one of the smaller pods as the toilet tent and the other pod we leave in the bag and use the area for storage and kitchen area instead. We used a small tent for years and we really enjoy the extreme luxury of such a big tent.
Can't wait till the next time we use it.

Chose this tent because of the price and large size. We have used it for 3 seasons of camping. It has survived all types of weather, including a week of torrential rain and mudlakes under the tent!, hosed down the groundsheet when I got home and it was fine. Tent just seems to be stretching a little bit now and water is starting to pool at the top but it has been well used.
No problems putting it up, even with one adult and two children (which did interest a few spectators!). It is also the only tent I have managed to fit back into correct bag. However it is heavy to lift into the car.
Very spacious inside, has accommodated an adult over 6' fairly comfortably. My children liked the fact that it had two separate smaller bedrooms rather than a dividing curtain. Plenty of room to eat/sit inside if the weather is bad.
I have found it a really good tent for an excellent price

We bought this tent in early May for an outing over the Bank Holiday Weekend and have used it 5 times since then for long Weekend breaks. Very pleased with it. It is extremely spacious affording plenty of room for a large family and all the accompanying gubbings!
There are 7 of us so we do use another small tent, mainly so everyone has a bit of space. I know this is an 8 man tent but it takes 4 very well, could cram another in if you use the bedroom divider in the larger pod.
Myself and my Husband have the larger pod as we have a very large airbed in there and still plenty of room for the luggage. The 2 smaller pods fit single airbeds well and again plenty of space for the bags etc. You can fit double airbeds in but our kids have single ones.
The living area is big enough for a good sized kitchen stand, 2 folding picnic tables 6 chairs and coolbags etc. If the tables were folded you can fit the 7 chairs inside if it rains, we can even sit 7 around the tables but it gets very cramped!
The tent was quite warm even on the cold spring nights although could have done with one of those little heaters. The 4 doors all open to let in the breeze on a rare hot day and 2 of them can be put up on poles making a canopy.
The pods have sewn in ground sheets and insect netting on the doors, there is also netting on the 2 main doors which is handy when being bombarded by midgies!
It withstands high winds very well if pitched correctly.
The only downside really is the fact that it leaks very slightly when it rains for more than a couple of hours mainly from where the loops and toggles are to secure the rolled up doors and nets, otherwise we are very pleased with it. Would get another one.

I bought this tent from an ex catalogue shop, it had a broken pole which was quickly and cheaply fixed with a kit from oswald bailey. For the money, even at full price, this is a marvellous tent, waterproof, roomy and well made considering its a budget tent. It goes up in 20 mins and I've been in it in some very heavy rain and wind, it withstood it well. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Couldn't get it back into the bag but I have never managed to with any tent !

This is an excellent starter tent, easy to put up, lots of room inside. We used this for the first time in march had on really windy night however the tent stood up really well, in the morning no bent poles. The only issue we have was the zip came off the runner and we could not reattach, however several cable ties later and plenty of tape the door was secured again. We just used the other door on the same side of the tent. When back at home contacted Argos to return tent, had no problems at all was given a full refund, and we bought the same type again, very good tent overall

I have one of these tents, its very good, and a decent size. We went with our three girls my partner and myself and still had plenty of room. We had never put a tent up before, however I have snapped one of the poles, does anybody know where I can get a new one?

We chose this tent as we didn't know if we would like camping and the size was generous and good value for the price we paid (got it when on sale) . We have had excellent holidays, we start camping from March onwards and it had stood up to gales and rain and a very heavy frost, and you learn as you go along what additions etc you want in your tent when you upgrade, the down side to this tent no fitted ground sheet and it was a little draughty at times , but I have adapted it and sewn a double skirt on the bottom so when I put my loose ground sheet down I can peg to stop the draughts coming in as much. This tent is a good 1st buy when you are just starting out just in case you dont like camping. We are now looking at buying a new tent possibly the Khyam Windsor similar lay out but with a fitted ground sheet.

Well what can I say but bravo, I was a bit nervy about buying a cheap tent but this has proved to be just as good as the rest money wise. Ok the ground sheet issue is solved by buying a medium sized tarpaulin. The tent is very good for families as you can throw the kids in to one of the single rooms and use the other for storage. My tent has weathered the worst inc snow when we attempted a survival weekend for charity and it weathered a hell of a snowstorm and we were surprised how well it kept the wind out. Gets my vote for easy to put up and durability

I brought one of these tents in the argos sale for £127.99 and I was surprised that it was delivered from them so quickly, one thing was you cant pick it up from in store. Anyway I have set mine up in the garden to make myself familiar with the tent as recommended, I was surprised at the size of the thing, it just fitted in the garden length ways, I have a big garden.
I am going camping in June for 2 weeks and I think that this tent is ideal for at least 4 people with loads of things. One thing I would change is the ground sheet, I feel that it could do with having 2 of them the same size, the main one fits nicely, but the second one is half the size which means you have to have at least one of the two double rooms in. That's the only problem I have had, the steel poles is great for support and you feel as though you have a good bargain with these as it gives a sense of stability.
I put this tent up myself and I found it not too bad, but I feel that 2 people could do it better for proper tension. I do have the stronger plastic pegs as I think the metal pegs would not have supported the tent to well, so if you are going to but this tent then I would recommend that you buy the heavy duty pegs, even if you use them for the main tent and the metal pegs for the guy ropes. On the whole another good bargain from argos

We bought the pro action Nevada 8 last year and went camping for 2 weeks in it. It has plenty of room for a family of 4 and all our camping gear which we stored in one of the rooms. I like the fact you can walk around inside it without bending down. Took me and my husband about 1 hour to put up, we only bought it a couple of days before going camping so did not get chance beforehand. Would recommend.
