I just purchased one of these tents and found it really easy to set up/pack away,i used it for a couple of nights in midgey infected conditions and could safely say if I never had this I wouldn't have stayed. The only fault I found with this tent is that the doors r only half mesh which causes probs when ur trying to look into the two tents you have attached. The tent was battered by wind and rain on the last night and I had no problems at all.

We got into Quercha Tents because they are so easy to pop up and extremely comfortable to use. Last year we just had two 3 second air tents which were great if you could guarantee the sun and didn't need any indoor space. We bought the Base camp to give us weather flexibility and amazingly our set up time is still less than half an hour and the weight difference negligible. We now have everything we need and can accommodate 6 people with all the gear in any weather. If you want to do short stay camping this is perfect. The quality and finish of the Quercha range is great, my only criticism of the Base camp is that the ground sheet is not integral.

We`ve just bought one of these and I`m really impressed. It comes with a 'velcro on' groundsheet and we bought the optional bedroom inner tent so it can be used on its own if we want to. We also have the 3 second air tent that we use with it and I can honestly say that, despite the size, this is the easier of the two to pack away.

Manufacturer's Description

Pod design starting with a central living area pod. Then add on extra pods and attach sleeping inners. Possibility of 4 pods off central area.

Designed for 4 backpacking hikers who need a quick set-up living area offering shelter from the weather and enabling direct access to up to 4 '2 Seconds' tents.

2 of the 4 doors are for access, or for an "open" side, or for twinning with another Seconds Base. The other 2 are for access to a 2 Seconds tent. These access doors are protected from the rain by a hood that can cover the front of the 2 Seconds tent (whether it's an Air, XL or 1-, 2- or 3-man model).

Don't confuse with the standard Seconds Base, which is just a living area, and won't attach to your tents.
