I too bought this tent for quick weekend get aways and have used it twice. Both times it rained on and off heavily and it didn't leak one bit although there was a little water in the front end 1 day but I put that down to condensation. I have erected it solo without too much trouble but it is easier with 2 people. As others have mentioned, the tent would be absolutely perfect if it had a flyscreen to the doors. I even managed to get it back into its original bag!. Great size for 2 people with room in the living area for storage and 2 chairs plus table - nice head height too but I am only small :-)

We have been away for two weekends in the Evolution and I have to say on the whole it is a cracking tent for 2 people. The only drawbacks are the doors flop inside when opened and water runs off them inside the tent. Flyscreens on the doors would also be a bonus. The tent did withstand a heavy thunderstorm with no leaks except from the door zips on one side, but this may be because the ground was sloped resulting in the water not running off as fast. We especially like the fact that the groundsheet is integral which makes it completely sealed, the only drawback with this is when you are trying to fold it up air gets trapped inside.

I have just bought this tent and took the opportunity to put it up on Sunday. I'm quite out of touch with all the latest tent methods as it's been years since I last bought a tent. I was pleasantly surprised with the instructions and the ease of pitching. With two of us, stopping to read instructions it was up in literally 10 minutes. Regardless of whether it's necessary, I have given it a coating of waterproofing agent so hopefully if it rains we won't get wet! So far so good!

Just returned from our first outing with the Evolution 400. It was really easy to put up and spacious inside for sleeping 2 people, one more would be ok, but 4 would be 1 too many. The sleeping area is great being so dark and felt warm and cosy. The living area is light and we could sit easily with large chairs and table with room for other bits too. Standing room is good in the middle of the tent which is all you need for a weekender and would probably be good for a week too.

Bought this tent for quick weekend breaks as our Montana 6 is a bit of pain putting up and down for just a night or two. There is only two of us so found that with a bit of planning there was plenty of room so much so that I could happily spend longer than a weekend away in it. BUT no tent is perfect and this one has some drawbacks (easily rectified, Sunncamp take note please!) You only need one door lets have a window on one side please and make the remaining door capable of being used as a porch and fitted with a fly screen - then the tent would be just about perfect! With that little moan out of the way the tent for what it costs is an excellent bit of kit well done Sunncamp

Liked the design, not too hard to erect. I made some nylon shaped bullet like ends, to easy feeding through the sleeves. It rained after about 5 hours of putting up. Then the rain on the outside became the rain on the inside in 3 separate areas. Above front sky light, rear air vent, and in the middle of the tent.Shame no fly screens on the doors and rain entering when you want to step outside. Dealer replaced tent so waiting for next trip.Hope no more internal wet patches

We have just got back from two weeks in Scotland in this tent, in typical Scottish weather! the tent was fabulous, stood up to all the gales and wind that we had. A very very small amount of leaking happened from one of the doors one night, but other than that there were no problems. There were just two of us, and it seemed the perfect size for a slightly longer holiday, it was lovely and light and was not a problem sitting in in the rainy evenings! Enjoy!

Just had this out for the first time this weekend and we are very impressed with it. Its easy to pitch but very stable and is roomy inside. Light material in living area make it light even before you open the large windows. Only negative points are no fly screens on the main doors and because it slopes in and the doors fold to the side you can't have them open when it's raining. Build quality seems very good - only tried it with two of us so far.
Excellent tent and I would recommend it.

We was seriously thinking of giving up camping until we found this gem of a tent.
I was getting fed up buying different tents which were supposed to be easy for one person to erect ( my wife is disabled & unable to help me ) All of the so called easy erect tents we had purchased had taken me an hour or 2 to erect & many times I felt I needed as many arms as an octopus.
But the Evolution is a different matter. 1st time erecting took 15 minutes from start to finish & that included a couple of minutes wasted moving the site owners 2 sheep who wanted to help me, but in fact got in the way.
Once erected you have a single bedroom capable of sleeping 4, or in our case 2, & still leave room for a porta potti.
The living area is small but quite adequate for the 2 of us & a kitchen. Being well lit with big windows to the front with built in curtains & 2 side doors. There is also a small zip at front for electric hook ups.
We have been away several times in this tent now & we bought it as an ex demonstrator & had been erected all season, so has seen some use & abuse & still looks like brand new. But as of yet, I can not fault this tent in anyway.
So if you are looking for a tent that is TRULY EASY TO ERECT, you can not beat the Evolution range. (the 600 is as easy to erect, just 2 extra berths)

A great tent that I use for one or two person use. Easy to put up can be fully erected in 20 mins by one person. Loads of space in side the sleeping area, not much room for sitting but enough for my 6,4 hubby to move around in with ease.
Much better now with the sunncamp carpet and foot print a great tent which could be used for a weekend or a week.
Highly recommended.
