Have just returned from a week in Cornwall with my 5yr old. My first attempt at camping! Managed to put tent up on my own (ok, I did watch the instruction video beforehand)and took longer than 20min, but I expected that. Tent was very easy to put up and matching it to a footprint helped. Experienced a little wind and rain but had no problems. Ample space for the 2 of us with all our camping gear, sleeping compartment divided into 1 double bed one side and bathroom/dressing room/storage the other. Would be cosy with 4 adults but ok for a small family of 2+2. Very impressed with tent and looking forward to our next adventure!Considering investing in the extension.

We bought this tent to upgrade from a Beta 350 and the extra room is amazing. We didn't have time to pitch the tent prior to using it but on arrival at the show it went up very easily and did everything it said on the tin. We also had the porch but as yet we havent put that up.

We will be using it during our forth coming holiday touring France and Spain so will get very practised in putting it up and taking it down.

We bought this tent last year for around £140, and had used it just twice at the end of 2009. It took a bit of practice to erect it (having owned a small 3 man tent before) but it stood up to some violent winds so we were pleased.

We've just come back from 2 weeks in France, and unfortunately have a few issues to report. We found that the flap for the main front door was never 'up' - this we discovered was a major inconvenience when it was pelting it down with rain, and the rain seeped over the top of the flap and into the tent! For the rest of the holiday, we had to prop it up with our cool bag, and just use the side door!

We were moving around, and put the tent up a total of 5 times in 2 weeks. When taking the tent down for the second to last time, we noticed the poles were looking a bit 'angular'. On dismantling, two poles had split, but not yet snapped. On erecting the tent for the last time, one pole snapped completely, but we persevered and the snapped pole tore a hole in the channel where the poles slot into. The second split pole thankfully didn't snap. Had it been raining, we would have been stuffed!

Apart from those issues, we were happy with the layout of the tent, the head height, and at that price we paid we felt it was good value for money. The tent didn't during a few days of continuous rain, and the fly screen on the side door was good to keep the flying beasties out.

A good weekend tent, but didn't take the pace when used for 2 weeks.

After purchasing and reviewing this tent at the end of last September I have now had the chance to sample and test it over the Easter and Spring B/H and it has lived up to my expectations.

Easter was cold and wet but the tent stayed as dry as a bone and the SIG kept it draught free, I was camping on my own and it only took 30 mins to put up, so that was a plus.

Spring B/H was mostly dry but very windy on one night, and the tent took a battering but stood firm when 4 other tents around collapsed (Thank God for Delta’s) again some rain one night, but no leaks at all.

I purchased a footprint and carpet over the winter, the wife was pleased how snug the carpet made the tent when she came on the last trip with me, and I was more than pleased with how clean the tent was to put away due to the footprint, all in all two good buys, very easy to put back into it’s saddlebag.

As there are only the maximum of two of us camping the tent is more than big enough for the both of us, in all honesty I think it would be a bit “snug” for 4 people, that’s the reason to always buy a larger tent for your needs.

I am more than pleased with the all round performance of my Tigris, the headroom, living space, easy to put up and take down, and it will suit my needs for a few years to come, can’t wait for my next little trip next month.

Having bought the Vango Diablo 600dlx last year we decided we needed a smaller weekend tent. The Tigris was Ideal it is simple to put up and easy to take down. You would struggle to have 4 adults in the tent but it is big enough for 2 adults.

The tent survived the unexpected frost on the Sunday and easily dried out.

Got the Tigris 400 after having a Halfords starter kit tent, and getting rained out last August.

Paid £120 for it at the end of last year on Ebay, delighted with it. SIG was great for helping keep out draughts. 1st time away Mayday bank hol, had some really heavy rain and high winds, tent stood upto it no probs at all.

Plenty of living room in the tent, nice features like the cable entry and internal storage pockets.

Also teamed the tent up with the Vango Large Sun Canopy, and while not a perfect fit, was great for some extra room to cook and eat under, and sit out in when the weather allowed, and certainly worth the £20 or so you can pick them up for on Ebay.

Absolutely love this tent. It is our first tent, and after walking round a number of show tents this one ticked all the boxes: right size, high enough to stand up in, sewn in groundsheet, 3000 head, easy to put up, lots of pockets, packs down small. We purchased it for £120 as an ex display, and couldn’t be happier. Went out a couple of times in it last year – one of which it absolutely chucked it down – we stayed dry and the tent stayed on the ground! Would definitely be too small for four adults (unless you’re very small or know each other extremely well!), but there were only 2 of us and a rug rat - we had 2 double mattresses with a Ready-bed between on top, and that worked out perfectly! Can’t wait to go camping again this year!

My partner and I purchased this tent last summer to use at a weekend stay at a festival and with the mind of visiting France this summer for a 3 week stay. After previously camping in a small 4 man dome tent with no living space this tent feels like a palace! There are just 2 of us so there is ample room in the bedroom and living space. We are fairly new to the camping scene but plan to build on our little empire. The plan before our visit to France is to invest in an extension in order to keep the cooking equipment in and also some pieces of furniture for general storage. It would be great to read some reviews from those of you who have already bought an extension to see how you got on with it. Looking forward to our trip to France now!

We bought this at the end of this season as we decided it would be a good idea to have a smaller tent to use for weekends or single nights away as our Utah 6 can be fairly hefty to pitch for short periods.

As usual we did lots of research and finally shortlisted the Outwell Nevada M and this tent which won on price over the Outwell as we purchased on E-bay for £140, although from a dealer and brand new, and the quality is as good as our other Outwell tent.

We wanted a cosy tent with bedroom space for us pair and our son as well as enough living space to store a small amount of stuff and for the three of us to sit and eat breakfast if it's wet, we also prefer to be able to stand up throughout, having spent years crawling in and out of a 2 man dome at festivals we like a few home comforts these days, we also wanted to be able to pitch in approx 15mins so that we can get on with the serious business of enjoying ourselves.

This tent delivers on all levels, it's quick to pitch, has just enough space for us and it also went back in the bag quite easily. The only fault I can find is that the bedroom pod was very tight and none of our tweaking seemed to amend this but we'll probably look more closely next time, I would also say that the footprint is an essential with this tent as the SIG can make the rest of the tent mucky when packed away and we will definitely get one before next season and also that the large front door won't be much good in the wet as it slopes inwards but there is a small porch over the side door which should afford some protection and prevent puddles.

A nice little tent that I'm confident will give us plenty of weekend fun and we might get the Vango Large Sun Canopy to cook in if we use it for longer trips.

We Bought a Tigris 400 , have to say very pleased with the tent. BUT . On our 1st outing ,during the night one of the geo section poles snapped , so the next day we had to pack up and head fo home . When I called Vango , they said that the poles don't come under guarantee, but I have to hand it to them they sent me out a new set . Now I always make sure I carry a few spares .The tent has been used many times this year , with one more mishap with a geo pole , but had a spare with me . I think the tent is a good buy . Stood up to some very heavy wind and rain in October in Scotland . Will be using it again before the end of the year with an electrical hook up .

Yes it was a good Buy
