I've used this tent a few times and its very easy to erect, better with 2 people but 1 can do it as well. It is large enough for 8 people probably fit 10 at a push. 2 large rooms 1 at each end, large central room in the middle with good height for standing. Only downfall is it doesn't have a sewn in groundsheet - this would make it perfect. Recomended for family or groups easy to dismantle and store away

I love the straight forward design of this tent. No domes or sloping ceilings! Thus it is uncomplicated and easy to live with. Erection is easy, although it really needs two to cope properly and get it up even. I've used it now for two years and it has held up well against various weather conditions.
Space is absolutely luxurious even though it has a smaller footprint than comparable tents! Even when using camp beds/inflatable mattresses there's still plenty of floor space in the births. The living area is large enough for communal socialising into the late hours, especially if inclement weather closes in and the hatches need battening down. No sense of claustophobia!
Good ventilation keeps it very comfortable on hot days. Each side of the tent has two doors, all of which may be opened at once for a truly alfresco feel, or in various combinations depending on comfort and privacy needs. Pull up the flaps and two of them become windows to let light in and keep any weather out.
Head height is generous throughout - you could jump up and down if you felt the need.
The hanging divider as provided for dividing up the large compartment only provides a sort of token separation and is probably best forgotten about: it certainly won't offer any sort of privacy.
Altogether, this is a brilliant tent for the large family/group and shouldn't disappoint.

I had read a lot of reviews for this tent both before and after taking the plunge and buying one
I think if I had read some of them before I bought it I might have thought twice ,however I would have been wrong
The tent is everything it claims to be , large (but not too big to fit on most pitches) easy to erect ,well made (at least mine is )
The sleeping pod layout is very good and gave us the opportunity to leave behind our utility tent as we were able to use one of the smaller pods for storage whilst still keeping the rest of the floor un-cluttered
Putting the tent up for the first time on site (it wouldn't fit in the garden ) was relatively easy after just 40 mins we had the thing up and guy'd down and were putting in the pods
Taking it down was easy too as we just reversed the procedure
I would happily recommend this tent to anyone looking for a spacious family unit who didn't have the megabucks needed for some of the more established manufacturers.

I feel this is a huge, and serviceable tent at a very budget price. Its easy to put up once you've done it and can see how it goes, although the instructions are only any good as a guideline!
It has withstood some tremendous winds, I would advise pitching end into the wind though as the poles are not as strong when hit sideways on. Packs away well, and is reasonably light for the size of tent. Loads of room inside, we use a four seat foldaway table and chairs to play cards at night and it fits in the middle easily. A very good value tent in my opinion.

I bought this tent a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately I was not happy with it at all.
First the good points;
This tent is very spacious, easy to erect and take down, good spacious bedrooms, quite waterproof. Good price.
Bad points;
Poorly manufactured ie. Pin holes in the material, door flap was sewn into the seem and it was very difficult to get back in the bag.
I think that I was just unfortunate to have a faulty tent, and if it was made better it would have been a great family tent. But I was put off by this and Argos were very good about it and gave me a refund.

We use this tent with our 5 girls and had plenty of use in all weather. Never had a problem. We put girls all together in big room. We have small room then use other small room for storage. Plenty of room and head height in living area fit in kitchen, table and 7 camp chairs and still space to move. Very easy to erect for large tent {we can do it in 15 mins} fits on all pitches we have come across. Just as easy to take down [fits in bag every time] Great value for money family tent would def have another one if anything happened to ours. We have found [drunken hubby bent pole] that cheap gazebo poles make perfect replacement for damaged poles as same size.

We chose this tent because there are 6 of us and we wanted space, and it doesn't disappoint. It is 7mx3m and a good shape to fit on to pitches. It has plenty of room in the bedroom pods, plenty of head room and ample space in the living area. When the canopys are up it gives a feeling of even more.
It took me and my husband about 1 hour to put up when practicing in the garden and now takes about 40 mins. It is quite simple - feed all the roof poles in and then start at one end adding the supporting vertical poles and anchor down as you go. We found as long as we anchored the starting end down properly and the guys were pretty taut then the rest came easily.
The tent has been out in some horrendous weather including very strong winds, heavy rain and a heavy frost. We found it stands up to the wind really well considering it is large tent and we've never had a problem with leaks. Condensation is kept to a minimum because of vents at the corners and at the ends of the tent, although we haven't had really hot weather yet to test this further!. It has 4 doors, 2 which have windows and when the canopys are up it gives easy access to the living area.
The downsides to this tent, for us, it is quite weighty. We have a 7 seater and when all the seats are in use we are left with little boot space. We had to put this in the footwells behind the drivers seats. It would be fine however if you had to use of the boot or a trailer.
Also, I feel it's a '2 person' job of putting it up. I suppose in very calm conditions 1 person could manage if they HAD to but not sure if the canvas would be pleased to be put under that much pressure. It is easier if 1 person is on either side putting the vertical poles up at the same time. I certainly wouldn't even attempt to do it by myself.
The other thing we would of liked was a SIG but I suppose that's down to personal choice.
Overall, this is a good sized tent and good value for money.
