Bought our tent as a ex demo from a Yeomans camp show.
Few faults found when bought which we expected and were also pointed out by the staff prior to purchase. Excellent living area/space ideal for a family of four.
Tent easy to erect and dismantle. Standing space in living and sleeping pods. Also purchased footprint and carpet to go with this tent which I would highly recommend. Stood up to various weather on a weeks holiday in the Cotswolds, kept us dry during rain. Would highly recommend this tent to anyone.

Bought this tent after owning 2 Gelert Horizon 6 tents this year, both of which had multiple problems. We also bought the footprint groundsheet and 2 carpets as well as the porch. This is a superb tent. Our first pitch took us 30mins in the dark, rain and wind with only the car headlights to see by. We put the porch up the following day when it was daylight.
This is an enormous tent for 2 of us but it was purchased with children in mind in the near future. I know other reviews have mentioned the pegs but ALL manufacturers skimp on this. We have 2 boxes of rock pegs, (40 in total), and they cost us just short of £20. I would advise anyone else to do the same. Also, before pitching the tent for the first time, climb inside the tent and undo all the TBS straps. This will stop any problems with the straps being pulled off whilst pitching .You can then loosen the straps before attaching them properly and this will avoid any problems. We never used the TBS straps as it was not windy, we stored them in the very handy pockets provided.
All in all this is a great space for camping in and would highly recommend this tent.

Have just been on our first camping trip with this tent and it rained continually for 7 days. Have to say the tent done us proud. No leaks and it also with stood the gale force winds. Very spacious and airy - my husband is 6'7 and he had able room. We also bought the carpet to go with the tent and it makes a huge difference. Keeps warmth in. Only complaint would be only 1 door with netting. Other than that fantastic tent and would def recommend to anyone looking to get one.

We have been using The Tigris 800 for over a year now and we love it. We can erect it now in 20 minutes and put it away in about 30.
We love the space you get with this tent and we still have yet to buy the extension!
We have camped in some rotten weather and we have never had a leak and it has withstood some ferocious winds. Its great when the whole family can sit in and play games until the weather brightens up and not feel claustrophobic. Would recommend this tent for any family of four and upwards.

This tent is fantastic, sturdy, huge and keeps you dry. Pitched in no time and was really easy, didn't even need the instructions.
Kept us totally dry with bad weather and stood up great to the wind, we were in the lakes.
We had enough room with all the pods in for a folding table chair combi (you know the kind I mean right?)and all the shopping and a kitchen! We had 7 people, 3 adults, 2 teenagers, a 10 year old and a 4 year old and the dog (elkhound) and we didn't feel cramped at all it was really spacious. Might be too big when just the 2 of us go away in a couple of weeks with the dog hehe.
We now want the zipped porch thing that goes on the side door(took me a while to figure out which one does what, as there are 3 different canopies you can get.) and would recommend getting the footprint, we didn't and there is a minuscule (and I mean absolutely tiny, prob the dogs claws) hole in the sewn in.
Would recommend for anyone wanting a spacious and well made tent that doesn't cost the earth.

We along with many others went for size when we got this tent. Used it for our first ever camping experience and found it easy to erect even if not as quick as they say (about 1 hr) that includes the extension and footprint. Whilst away we had the most torrential downpours and wind, but this tent stood up well to the elements being thrown at it. Do agree that it gets hot inside and could do with a mesh door on the other side. Overall would recommend this tent to anyone.

Bought this tent because we wanted space. With two young children we wanted room to eat, sit and play undercover (at the same time) if the weather was bad. This tent provides exactly that. Kids love having their own rooms and the 4 berth room means my 6ft4 husband can stretch out. Took about 40 minutes to erect first time around and needed little adjustment. Packed away in about 40 minutes. Like the many storage pockets and different configuration possibilities with 3 doorways. No problems so far.

With a little one holidays get expensive so we decided to try camping. I haven't camped for 25 years. We bought the Tigris after viewing in many show rooms. We liked the large living areas and the bedrooms. We purchased the side tunnel extension. After our first week camping we love the tent. Takes a while to put up as so nervous the poles would snap - they didn't. We had no leaks and had some pretty heavy rain and wind. There was a tension issue around the door but this might have been as we were on a slope and we are not experienced campers. Came down easily and went back in the bag. Very happy with our purchase.

Hmm - A mixed review here, owned this since last year and we picked it because of the internal spacing and pod options, had a full week in Cornwall with only one bad day weather-wise, it held up well to fairly high winds and rain although the porch extension came off worse, used it since then no more than 7 times for week-ends away and although in only fine weather, the problems started surfacing on our last trip though, again fairly light winds and showers
1 - the tension bands came away in 2 different places
2 - a 4' split appeared in the SIG (this may have something to do with the SIG being very tight around the doorway
3 - considerable fraying on 3 of the the bedroom pods along the stitching
4 - the little canopy developed a tear that is unrepairable
5 - the worst though is all over the tent is started to leak in, not bad at 1st but by the end of the week water was coming into the pods
So in reflection - if I had taken it out in the space of 7 weeks and the faults had developed it would have gone back but because I bought it 16 months ago its useless
Sorry cant recommend for the shocking build quality - don't me took in like we was with the space, and the less said about the extension the better

As a first timer I was a bit apprehensive about pitching this tent, it says its a 20 min pitch, it took me 2 hours ish, that's just me though. On pitching, when I pulled on one of the ground sheet tensioning straps with little force it just came off in my hand which I am yet to have rectified by the manufacturer, this small problem though didn't detract from the rest of the tent, it was very cosy with the carpet in it. Looking around the tent I was picking up different features even after the 2nd day, like the lighter top panels in the living area which is not the area I should have slept in as it gets very bright in the morning. It looks very modern and I can recommend getting the footprint as well as this makes you feel even more protected from the ground. One tip though when you have rain remember to un-peg the groundsheet by the doorways and fold it in and toggle it up or your tent gets flooded, not a design fault though, my fault.

Manufacturer's Description
The Vango Yukon range of tents has been replaced by the Vango Tigris range - which in turn are very similar to the Nevada Range already produced by Outwell. The Tigris has a very simple 5-pole fiberglass pole structure but one that gives great head height and therefore one that gives a light and airy feel. There are also flexible bedroom arrangements and storage options a plenty plus three entrance options. The tent frame is constructed with Powerflex fiberglass poles, a Protex 3000 Polyester flysheet (3000mm hydrostatic head protection) and as is the norm these days, the groundsheet is fully sewn-in to keep out unwanted pests and draughts. The other key features of the tent include a waterproof exterior storm skirt, flysheet first pitching, 2+2+4 (with divider) sleeping compartments, colour coded poles, TBS tension band system for extra strengthening in adverse weather, 10,000mm HH internal polyester groundsheet, cable entry point and tidies, mesh double doors, mesh vents, pelmet and inner tent pockets, 'Crystal Clear' windows, double zip windows (for vent/light/cover flexibility), breathable fabric inner tent, inner tents and divider can be removed when not in use, parallel zipped front door can be used as a sun canopy, canopy over side door, rain gutter zip covers. Saddle bag and repair kit included. Flame retardant throughout.
Capacity: 8 people Price: £300.00 Total Weight: 25.45g Pack Size: 71x47x32cm Pitching Area: 940x500cm Pitching Time: 20min
