Fabulous tent! Easy to pitch, sewn in groundsheet, canopy over door to stop rain drips entering tent are the highlights.

I’ve used it for the last 4 years, bought as a bargain £125 brand new from Facebook Marketplace and never regretted it. I solo camp (with my dog) but wanted a tent with standing room and plenty of space for all my stuff. Love the fly mesh on front door which is great for keeping bugs out.

It’s not super quick to pitch on my own (20-30mins) but easy enough (use Cross Camping method, video on YouTube), and I’m never in a rush anyway. I updated the pegs to strong rock pegs, as personally I dislike the standard metal ones. It’s been through some summer storms and the tension band storm straps do their job, and the tent hasn’t shifted in strong winds.

I would recommend this tent for solo, couples and small families with younger ones. It definitely wouldn’t fit 5 adults unless you all slept in sleeping bags directly on the floor! Happy Camping :)

We recently purchased the Vango Ascott 500 to use as a weekend camping tent. Very simply to pitch, took 2 of us 10 minutes to pitch. The sleeping pod fits a family of 4. The porch area has plenty of space to store your belongings, and sit in if the weather is bad.

Would recommend as a family, great quality, no fuss, weekend tent.
