I bought this as a cheap introductory tent having not camped since a teenager in the 90s to see if I enjoyed camping. Its been on two trips - one with me and my 5 year old and again with me, my husband and the 5 year old and has been pitched for some garden camping too. It is fairly easy to erect, although we occasionally struggle with inserting the poles onto the pins at the base which can be frustrating, particularly when it's raining. I can assemble it on my own as well which is great.
There is adequate space for a short camping trip, but not for an extended trip - although I like to have lots of stuff, so if you are more minimalist then me it might be fine!
We do not separate the sleeping area and just have one single room so the bedroom is a good size and can fit a king sized airbed along with a single airbed and have room for walking between the beds. The nightfall bedrooms stop some early morning light, but it's definitely not black out. It could probably fit 4 people with a smaller double airbed but I would be hesitant to use it for any more on a camping trip.
It has withstood some torrential downpours and windy conditions without leaks, tears or breakages.
What it lacks are some things I didn't know I needed or wanted when buying, and this is where the price point has been a bonus - it has allowed me to understand what I like when camping. For example, it only has one electrical entry point which has been a little restrictive on one occasion due to the EHU positioning. It also does not have a porch, meaning that when it's raining, wet weather gear, shoes etc. Need to come into the tent which increases condensation. It also means that you have to be creative with tarps/shelters/ umbrellas when cooking as there is no area to safely do this within the tent. The door design also means that you have to do a dance in the rain to stop water ingress. I'd personally like a bit more ventilation in the tent
The full mesh door at the front is great to allow the tent to air a bit without letting beasties in and we bought king poles so we can use the door as a canopy which is good for increasing space a little.
All in all its a good tent for my first foray into camping and when we get our next bigger tent, I will still keep it for solo camping adventures.

I didn't intend to buy this tent because it was more than my budget but Cotswold Outdoors ran out of stock of a smaller tent and sent me the latest Winslow II instead. I am so glad they did because this is a superb tent, spacious, weatherproof and so easy to put up and take down. The huge front door has a window with a full mosquito net and this gives you an incomparable view from sitting inside. The ventilation is surprisingly good and better than I thought. The groundsheet is sturdy and fully sewn in. The side windows are splendid. Now, the criticisms. Of course, to say that it is a five berth is rather an exaggeration, for two it is luxuriously spacious, for two adults and two children it will be fine, for any more I would look at bigger tents.
This 2020 model comes with the Nightfall bedroom which gives you the idea that it is a blackout bedroom as you find on the Coleman tents. It is not. Absolutely not. It does darken the incoming light but that is all and at 5 in the morning you can easily read a book inside the bedroom. I know. Worse than that, it is a transparent black which means that if you wish to have a camping toilet in the front part, then there is no privacy whatsoever and you will prefer to get wet running outside to the campsite loos rather than be observed. Other than that nocturnal problem, this is a very fine tent and if you can pay less than £200 I would say go for it.
