Having owned the 2010 version of this tent(no windows) or SIG we decided to treat ourselves to the 2011 version and cant believe how much better the tent is.It goes up so simple can see outside with windows and curtains at night keep the warmth in.Plenty of living space and loads of room in each of the bedrooms.Would recommend this tent to anyone considering buying one

Recently bought this tent and wanted to try it out without waiting till next year. We went just overnight and was really pleased with how quickly it went up. It rained in the night and was fine. Our first SIG and was pleased with the lack of draughts. The amount of windows it has is brilliant and can imagine it being nice and light even on a fairly dull day. Really pleased with it and plenty of room for 2 adults plus doggy. Would definitely recommend.

Used our Mojave 5 for the first time this weekend, was a really good tent withheld the wind and rain, easy to put up and plenty of space inside. Especially like the clear windows at the front so you can get plenty of light in, even if its raining outside, also like the fact it has three doors so you can open it right out if you want. We were proper clamping and had the carpet with it, which I would recommend, makes the tent warmer and more homely. Would definitely recommend this tent

Brilliant entry level tent. Very easy to put up and plenty of room inside. Great with all the doors front and side. We use it for a family of 4. We put the kids in the larger bedroom with 2 blow-up beds and a double fits snug in the other. After a couple of uses we decided to but the extension (which was nearly the same price of the tent - which we bought on special offer!) But a good buy as it gives you somewhere to cook, extra sitting and storage area. All good all round tent.

Hi just an update on previous review, carpet is great but hooks to hold in place would be good. But guess not everyone has my kid rolling on floor or scuffing it up. The porch made world of difference just that extra space to pop the cooking items, as had some down pours so was nice to not have the living space full of things. The poles for the porch are not light like the tent poles, had trouble getting the fabric to sit tight on the tent and touch the ground. Also once porch was on it became clear how much the tent had faded, which worried me a little for such a new tent having brought this to replace my old tissue like Outwell. But so far no leaks and still extremely happy with it.

Mojave 5 Porch well worth the money. £70.00 from go outdoors. We were in Dorset last week and the tent and porch withheld the torrential rain.
The porch gives so much more space, easy to put up and comes with a ground sheet a big bonus.
We managed to sleep in the tent area and cook and day to day living under the porch. Would recommend this to all any Mojave 5 tent owners.
A Must Buy

Had my eye on this tent for a while and bought it in the Go Outdoors sale. Puts up easily and quickly (only 3 poles) and the space is fantastic. Almost twice the living space of my Horizon 6 and although the bedrooms are of course smaller there's still plenty of room for 3 people, four at a push. There's full standing height throughout, even in the bedrooms. The front windows make it feel even more spacious and the bug mesh on all the doors is a feature you unfortunately don't get on many tents in this price range. The bedrooms are a quite dark material which helps on sunny mornings. I would agree with a previous review that the tent lacks pegging points along the front edge and also easily remedied it by using 'clingons'. It's a great tent for the money, and would make an ideal 'first tent' for a small family trying out camping. I would give it 10/10 but I haven't used it in rainy weather yet so can't give it full marks for that reason alone.

I paid £99.00 for my tent. I have never seen it priced that low since. I really do love this tent. It withstood very fierce gales in Snowdon. It goes up in minutes, and down just as quickly.
It ticks all the boxes with structural features I was told to look for; I was told to look out for, separate internal bedrooms, rather than attached or sewn in bedrooms, and colour coded poles. The seams are taped, and didn't let in wet in very heavy rain. I am really impressed with it.
I think for more than 3 adults though, the living space can be a bit cramped in bad weather when you cant have the front door open. Also, to live comfortably for more than a couple of nights, there would be poor storage if occupied by 5 people, unless there were young children.
That said, I do love my tent. More so now it has been good to me in very bad weather. If I ever replace it, it will be if I am going away for longer with 3+ people.

I love this Tent having owned many Tents before this one just seems so roomy. Although most of the time it is just my son and I. It is so simple to pitch and looks good once up. First time we used it many of our friends were very impressed and a few others on the campsite commented on it too. I have now brought the porch & carpet which I will be using end of August. The larger bedroom is a good size, as I do have my creature comfort of a Queen size air bed! The living area is spacious too. Last trip it rained and we were able to entertain visitors comfortably in this area.
Also very easy to take down as onslaught of rain tested our skills to the max! but as it is so simple to erect and take down this was achieved with out a hitch. NO screaming irate Mummy so I believe my son is very pleased with the tent too.
The only downside it has no hook to hang the electric hook up. Light hook not strong enough. But I have solved this problem now by making a clip on one of my camping cupboards.

This will be my 4th Mojave 5 in 2 yrs, cut along story short, the latest one on 5th aug 2011 decided to be a cullander first time it was pitched, it leaked all the way along the back edge down onto the fittings for the dividing rooms and into the rooms thus floating beds! Yet the porch extension also first outing performed brilliantly considering it does not have a fixed fly sheet nor fixed connection to the tent.
Go outdoors at Wolverhampton said they have to send it away for testing? Its new! Ok outside the said 28 days as it was exchanged earlier this year, about a month and half ago for one full of holes!
Will be testing the 4th one next week watch this space!

Manufacturer's Description
Easy to erect, easy to dismantle, and offering generous living space, the Mojave 5 is a great choice for families wanting comfortable, fuss-free camping, or couples wanting extra space for storage and fun.
It pitches outer first, with separate 3 and 2 person rooms that clip in to the underside.
With taped seams, a sewn-in groundsheet and completely waterproof outer layer (3000HH), you can be sure of total protection from rain and draughts.
The poles are angled to give you maximum headroom throughout the tent, so no need to stoop when you're inside. The pole sleeves have slick inners to make pitching the tent quick and easy.
In warmer weather, the breathable inner and 2 side doors with full mesh panels give you superb ventilation and allow plenty of light into the tent. The large front door can be extended out as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, offering shelter from sunshine or rain.
It has bright and reflective pre-attached guylines to keep it stable and secure, and more visible in the dark. There's also a electrical cable access point allowing you to use appliances inside the tent with the minimum of fuss.
A practical and versatile option for families, group campers or anyone who needs comfort and breathing room when out in the wild.
