Just used my Tigris 600 (from Winfields) for the first time under more realistic(rain/sun) conditions in Perthshire after a practice pitch in the garden. Had spent ages deliberating only to find that there was a shortage of these models but not the 800.
Arrived at the campsite in the pouring rain and decided to get the tent up asap. Put down the footprint though the ground was not too muddy. The flysheet went up quickly tho the rain did come on heavier ~ but managed to crack a pole due to not unclipping a tension band. (poles not covered in warranty).
Once the flysheet was secure it kept nice and dry inside but did notice a lot of condensation in the morning - I put down to the high rain fall. Once the sun came out it dried quickly and after the ventilation scheme was adjusted by opening vents. (It was not very windy)
Family loved the layout and the handy stash places and the door arrangement meant the entry can be on 3 of 4 sides - if one the bedrooms is tidied away. Having a Tigris tent carpet was great as there was no cold sticky feel underfoot in the morning making it more cosy.
Used a vango 48 LED UFO style light and meant I did not bash my head once! Light level was good enough and the battery(x3 AA) life just fine for a long weekend

A great tent that is very easy to put up (2 people), it can easily be done in half an hour including the inner tent. Plenty of room and very very dry, it rained very hard on our 1st outing and not a drop to be seen. We have also bought the footprint and carpet for ours and are more than pleased with our purchase. I would recommend this tent without question. A major bonus is should you be unfortunate to have obtain spare they are readily available as with all Vango tents.

I love this tent has everything that I need, there is only three of us that use it I have also got the side extension, for putting away all the chairs and tables and kitchen stand. It can be erected in twenty minutes with two people or twenty five on my own. Very pleased with the quality, I can not recommend this tent enough, very water proof in heavy down pours. If you have not got one you need one!

This was our first attempt at pitching the Vango Tigris. To be honest the pitching went up without too many issues and took myself and wife about one hour to be totally sorted, although the main structure is up within ten minutes at the most. We had mixed weather with some heavy downpours and can happily state that we suffered no leaks. Lots of good features inside the tent and not much in the way of overnight condensation to report. Rained as we packed, naturally, but this was not problematic either. Dried it out and even managed to pack it away into the supplied suitcase style bag, with some room to spare! I would suggest anyone buying this to invest in some decent power pegs, as the supplied ones are pins and v pegs - steel style, which may bend if struck with too much clout!
No regrets at buying this and am actually looking forward to the next time it comes out of the bag in anger.

Decided on a vango due to a friend owning an old one and liked the quality and style. So chose the Tigris 600. Have only used it twice so far but am very pleased with the purchase and is exactly what we need for a family of 3 (with another on the way). The versatility of the additional bedroom compartment which then transforms into a large porch area is superb.

Having owned many vango tents before this one we thought this tent would be just perfect, so we went ahead and bought it to use as a weekend tent. As soon as we could we put it up in the backgarden to see what it was like to discover that in several places the seams on the groundsheet were already coming apart and the quality wasn't what I expected from a vango tent, maybe it was just an odd one but we took it straight back to the dealer.

We have just purchased our Vango Tigis 600 and only had the chance to practice pitch it in the garden nut from what we have seen it looks like it will suit us fine.
We had our first ever camping trip last September in an Outwell Arizona L and found some of the shortcomings with this tent so decided to upgrade this year. The things that made us choose the Vango where the fully sewn in groundsheet and the fact that you can lay the door part of the ground sheet flat when the door is open to stop you tripping on it. Also the rain porch over the door is a neat touch.
The quality of the tent seems good (perhaps not quite as good as the outwell build quality) but for the price of £199 it good value. This is a huge tent for the 2 of use, made even larger by the fact that you can leave the second bedroom out if you don’t need it. We are looking forward to using it on our first trip and I will write another review when we have fully tested it.
