This is a fantastic tent in fact no, it is not a tent, it is a house. It is so very spacious. I am 5.5' my fella is 5.11' we have no problem standing up in the inner tent and I can stand not touching the roof in the big bedrooms. We have never had a problem with the rain, even in the lakes when all it did was rain. It is cosy and mine has a orange interior which makes it feel all the sunnier and warmer in the winter.
With the porch being so roomy we set the kitchen up in it, I even take a inflatable couch. The only reason this tent has a 9/10 rating from me is that many sites will not accept it due to size and when we camp in winter we require electricity for out little heater and not many like giving big tents electricity. I love this tent, but may have to get a smaller one to enable a wider camping choice.

Just bought this tent, and had a go at pitching in the garden. The instructions could have been improved by some diagrams and we nearly ended up flying as the wind was so strong. It's definitely not easy in windy conditions. It took two of us and a considerably amount of good hearted swearing but we managed in the end. Amazed at the size. We bought the 600 even though we are a four person family, thinking the extra room might be useful. A 400 would have been fine I think, as the 600 really is extremely spacious, even if you are tall, there is plenty of headroom. Feel slightly daunted at such a big size tent really, but on the whole, pleased. Will let you know how we get on in the field, so to speak.

Great tent, large and roomy and very light. The porch area excellent for setting up kitchen and plenty of doors for access in and out. This tent is however impossible to pitch in windy conditions and I would not advise anyone try it. Find pitching in general fiddly compared to our other tent the coleman Sahara 8 which is really fantastic but overall the Vango is great in good weather and once up withstands torrential downpours, thunder and lighting (our recent trip).

Generally very pleased. Large roomy tent with plenty of headroom. Instructions clear and went up fairly easily with two of us but not qickly. I would say it is definitely a two person job to erect as it is quite tall and the poles are awkward to manoeuvre if just the one person trying. Only drawback is that the inner goes up first so not good if you need to pitch in the rain.

The best tent I have owned to date. I have managed to put this tent up on my own but that is a challenge. With 2 it is very easy to put up. We have even had to put it up quickly in the rain and even though it is inner first it wasn't a problem and it dried out very quickly. The instructions are good but if you have owned a similar tent you won't need to follow them every time I am a man after all! One slight niggle is that the inner tends to touch the outer by the rear door, and has always done so even after multiple attempts to reshape the tent before pegging. But all in all a superb tent. The only reason we would change it is to get one of the funky(er) new colour choices. Pitch sizes can be an issue so pre booking is a must at some sites it really is bigger than your house! Enjoy it if you get one.

Very impressed with our Vango 600XP,good instructions with respect to pitching. Good quality materials, lots of space and head room even in bedroom pods.
Camped for 8 nights no problems/leaks when rained etc.
Excellent family tent. Footprint a must to protect sewn in groundsheet

Only just pitched it but I am impressed so far. Managed to pitch on my own with a little assistance that is required to hold the tent up while the poles were inserted. Will update again when I've stayed in it!
