We found this tent easy to erect, although we bought the canopy to go with it and that wasn't as easy as it looked to erect due to the tight fit/stretch over the poles, but it is very practical as an added protection/cooking area. Although a 6 berth tent we used it with only one bedroom and only had enough room for two of us. As previously commented one end is very drafty, so depending on the weather you may choose to sleep at the opposite end. Overall a very nice tent and value for money

Love this tent! We camped at the beginning of May 2009 - withstood rain showers and wind without any problems. As others have said the bottom of the doors can be a bit drafty. We didn't even realise the tent had the option of a door at one end if you don't use one of the bedroom pods - this does tend to make the bedroom at that end a little colder but then it was a very cold night!

We had no problem repacking into the bag (and we're not experienced campers) - I wonder if they have made the bag a little larger for this year's model?

I do intend to buy the optional canopy or porch as rain will definitely get in through an open door without one.

And just in case anyone needs to know, it is possible to get a double and a single airbed in one pod, although there's no remaining floor space. Perfect size for a family of 4 but will fit 6 at a pinch!

We had our first outing with our horizon 6 at Easter. This tent is fab. As there is only the two of us we only needed to use one bedroom compartment so there was a huge amount of living and storage space which is great for us as we don't exactly travel light when we go camping.

Our first night was extremely wet and blustery but having also purchased the canopy we were able to sit out till late and not get wet or blown away. The tent really did stand up well in the strong winds and never once felt like it was going to blow away or buckle in any way unlike the outwell tent we had previously.

The only problem we had was getting the tent back in the bag at the end of the holiday. It took us over half an hour and numerous attempts to fold it right. I suppose this will get easier with practice. All in all A fantastic tent and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Love this tent. Spent 3 days in the Lakes with it in very wet and windy (60mph gusts) conditions and it didn't let a drop of rain in. Poles flexed and tent buffeted, but never threatened to come down, unlike others on the site in different tents who vacated early. It was brilliant. First time we'd taken the tent out of the bag and only my 2nd time ever camping, but the tent was up and the kettle was on in just over an hour. Really easy to put up and take down. Good size and head height. Only two adults and a crazy spaniel as occupants, but absolutely loads of space. Could easily have had another couple of adults in there. Full size fitted ground sheet was great, but we also bought the Horizon 6 carpet and this certainly added a degree of 'luxury' and warmth so would recommend spending the extra £30 or so to get this.

We used our tent for the first time last year 2008, we were lucky with the weather as it was very hot, but the tent kept us cool inside. Easy to pitch and easy to put away. Will be using it again this year in August. Listening to all the reviews means we have no worries at all, fantastic tent excellent space and even a pretty colour

Have used this tent twice now and both times encountered torrential rain, but not a drop inside the tent! Great space, storage and light, however, as with previous reviewers, the doors tent to be drafty. We have solved this by using clip-on plastic eyelets which seal the door but don't damage the tent. Obviously this is not practical for the main entry door so there we use tent pegs to hook it down. Seemed to stand up to strong winds last weekend although one pole split when we were taking it down. And the canopy is a must buy £50 approx. Overall excellent value for £125 on Amazon!

We have used our new Horizon twice, relatively easy to put up, plenty of space in sleeping pods for one adult, 10 and 11 year old in one pod and adult and 12 year old in another.

Sewn in ground sheet but no facility to seal bottom of doors (3). Had an ant invasion so to seal fully would have been useful. Planning to use self adhesive velcro on next trip. Lots of plus points. Very tight fit getting back into bag.

We just got back from our first trip away with our new tent. We are really pleased with it. We had a lot of rain overnight, but it dried out very quickly once the sun came out, and I'd like to agree with everything the others have said about this tent.

We purchased our Horizon 6 after camping on the top of a Yorkshire Dale. We had found our current Coleman Trailblazer was neither big enough nor wind proof enough, so set out after one day to get a new one.

We came back with this, and had it up in next to no time not bad considering we were new to all this. To say it lived up to its water rating is an understatement. Mother nature really did have a go at moving it, and some local tents were badly damaged, but this stood up no probs. The additional porch canopy is a real must to stop water ingress when the door is open, and at £40 its well worth it. The tent is spacious and ideal for the 4 of us, and really can't see any need to change for the future. These are bargain price now, and can really say they are strong, easy to erect and put down even in the wind (just peg it first lol) and great quality. Would buy another one without a hint of doubt.

This is our 3rd tent and is the best one we have had. We have just returned from camping and typical British weather - it rained, we had thunder and lightening and strong winds - it didn't leak, fall down and was really easy to put up, take down and store back in the bag. The 2 sleeping compartments were a good size and left a good living area in the middle of the tent.

An excellent buy!
