We are a 2 parent, 2 child and a dog family. It was more than bug enough for us! We did purchase the porch too which is well worth it for cooking and eating etc!

We also bought the carpet that it is designed for this tent and this was lovely.

It was easy to put up - we were worried about it for the first time! It all went away back in the bag easily too.

Bought this tent to replace a Vango Colorado 600DLX and it's FAB!

We are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler - and it's plenty spacious for all of us. We bought it with the porch as well and I am pleased we did. We use the porch for cooking and eating, one bedroom for the older 2 children and one bedroom for us parents and the baby. We have 2 single airbeds and an airmat in our room and the kids are on a double airbed and there is plenty of room around the sides.

We have just come back from a week in France and we had 2 nights of rain and it was lovely and dry and cosy. The sewn in ground sheet kept us lovely and warm too. The storage pockets are brilliant for keeping things away from little hands and the electrical hook up entry hole is brilliant too.

The tent took us about 35mins to put up the first time and 20mins for the porch. Took about 10mins to take down and put away each part. The 2nd time, we got tent and porch up (with a screaming toddler after a 10hr car journey) in 20mins - and took down in 10mins total.

We have also finally worked out how to put the porch up right - you need to make sure if goes up with the main black pole running across the middle of the porch and the edges either side of the slightly outer poles (not the outermost poles!)

Fab tent, have recommended it to loads of people - really spacious, warm, dry, easy to use!

Just bought this tent and gone camping with it. I’m very impressed with it. Very easy to put up and well designed. It rained family heavily one evening/night so can vouch for its water proofness. Comes with a good size bag so you don’t have to get half the family laying on it to get it back in the bag. Was £149 at go outdoors in July 2010, was on offer as the RRP is supposedly £330. But think it’s ‘on offer’ most of the time. I would call it a 4 man tent unless you are a VERY close family.

Go get one, you won’t go wrong

We bought this as an upgrade from a 4 man tent. Like many others have said we only use 1 bedroom with two single camp beds and air beds on top, with loads of room down the middle still, this leave loads of room in the rest of the tent if the weather turns!

An excellent tent, really glad we made the upgrade! And now after using it twice we can get it up in no time!

Bought one and tried it up in garden for a few days in the rain before trip, glad we did as it had 4 leaks, always had Vango tents and could tell while putting it up that it was not of same quality, but there is Great space in bedrooms and great Living Space, we took back to GO outdoors for a refund. Wouldn't buy Hi-Gear again. (apparently there had been quite a few returns on them because of leaks, may have just been a bad batch).

Easy to put up, can do it in about 15mins, and more than enough space for 2 adults and 3 kids. Have used it in all weathers and found that it stands up to everything that is thrown at it. Also used it for just 2 of us and left one of the bedroom areas down which left loads of sitting room and also made it so the tent could be opened up at the end. Recently bought the porch too which is a brilliant addition. Also got the footprint but not had chance to use it yet.

Recently purchased this tent and porch for our first ever camping trip. France june 2010.

2 of the poles cracked and we learnt a valuable lesson in that you should carry sticking tape, kindly leant to us by other campers. We found the space more than adequate for 2 adults and the dog. We experienced wet and hot weather and the unit adapted to both satisfactorily. I cant say the tent was easy to put or may be we were dong something wrong! the porch was quick and easy to erect and a god send with the differing weather conditions.

My boyfriend and I bought this tent last year as we wanted to get into camping. We wanted it to be luxury not typical camping. We bought the whole works, tent, carpet, cooker, radiator the lot.

We really enjoy camping in the Zenobia tent, when we go camping alone we tend to leave one bedroom down. This leave a large space for us to lounge in, which is great when it rains. We have used our tent for two camping seasons now and it is fantastic! The only issue with this tent if any, is that one of the poles which support the outer tent has snapped and cracked. However, this was easily replaced with a new one for a very small price.

We upgraded from a 3 person tent used for camping in the back garden to the Zenobia 6 so we could try a family camping experience.

The four of us,(Mummy, Daddy, George 8 and Eddie 4) were immediately impressed with the unit. From the ease of use in erecting it to the quality of the seams and brightness of the Guy lines. We have used the tent for A short stay away and we are planning a five night stay in the main holidays. We are very happy with the Zenobia 6. Having read some reviews we are sure that we made the best choice for a spacious family tent.

We've just had out first trip in our new tent. I have to say that we were very very impressed.

1st off, it's very easy to put up. 5 poles and the first 2 guys and my wife was inside hooking up the bedrooms while I sorted the rest of the guys and pegged everything down.

Secondly, it's a big ol' unit! Loads of room to store your kit in the main body with plenty room to spare. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. With previous tents we would leave loads of stuff in the car. Not this time, though.

Plenty ventilation through the night, although the main body got VERY warm through the day (it was a blisteringly hot day, though). On our last night it rained and we were blissfully dry. Not tested in any decent wind but it seems to be super sturdy (there are certainly loads of guys that would be optional if pitched in low or no wind.

Dead easy to pack as well. Fitted into the bag fairly easily.

The additional carpet added that bit of luxury under our feet. Very pleasant to sit on late at night with a beer. :)

It has a sewn in groundsheet, so no cooking inside. Our next purchase is the porch for cooking in.

Can't wait until next weekend to get it back out again. Fantastic tent. 10/10.

Update:

Last weekend we had really high winds which broke a pole in my mate's tent. Our Zenobia + canopy handled it easily, barely losing it's shape. With torrential rain through the night, I was also slightly concerned that it couldn't handle it. I needn't have worried. Bone dry.

It was fun trying to take it down, though!
