2 Reviews of the Cordoba 5
By: M0KAS Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2009 Rating:
Bought this tent and matching canopy as a quick fix, tent does as it says on the package, ample room, bedroom divider is fully removable so its not just rolled up. On the plus side there a canopy available, but I wont rate that much, as its rather small once its attached to the tent and doesn't give that much extra room, and collects the wind like a wind sock. As for the tent, stands up to heavy rain well, but in wind it toes need a couple of extra guys fitted to stop the tent from folding in on itself, once they was pegged in, the supplied steel pegs are kind of useless so it is worth buying the plastic ones, and the flysheet section under the windows on the frot could do with an extra fixing point, as it is kind of loose in windy weather. The reason for only giving 8/10 is due to the fact the groundsheet isn't fully fitted and the fixings are only held in by elastic, no buckle tension, also in weather with a breeze the tent gets rather draughty due to not having the fitted groundsheet. This may sound like a negative review, but its not, it ticks most boxes on anybodies required list, but not all. Tip: when pitching the flysheet, only peg one side down at the ring and pin until the inner tent is fitted, this makes sure the inner tent elastics are all attached and not under extreme tension.
Hope this advice is helpful

I was lucky enough to pick this tent up for half price after looking at them for a few months as a replacement for my Halfords 3 man
I was not disappointed its simple to pitch and when its up its palatial having a footprint of almost 16ft by 10 which by any standard is bloody good for unit of this price range
Not much more to say really it does what it says on the tin but I would recommend this tent to anyone needing a unit of this size
