4 Reviews of the Galeria 4
By: Hilaryp2 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2009 Rating:
Very good tent - so spacious. Very easy to put up - left my 10 yr old and my husband to put it up and they still managed it without asking me! Love the fact that there are lots of windows so you can see out when its not so good outside and you are hiding away in the dry. 4000hh means it withstands most that the UK will throw at it. Highly recommended.

We got ours from Barrett’s of Feckenham, in their end-of-season sale in 2007. We walked right round the outdoor display first, eliminating all the tents with a HH of less than 3,000. Then we looked at height, light and living-space. Lots of the tents we walked into had one or the other, but not all three. Then we found the Aztec Galeria. Wow, what a tent! Loads of windows, tall enough for even our grown-up son to walk around without stooping – good height also extends into the bedroom pods, which was very nice. Plenty of space in the living area. We were so thrilled with it that we had to force ourselves to go round again, just to check the pros of this tent against all the others.
It was way better than anything else in the display, and at £179, we almost fell over in our haste to buy it! They also had a matching canopy for £60, and the two together make a wonderful, open covered space – lovely for when the grown-up family are camping with us.
The flattish lip of the SIG at the door is a plus for me, as I don't like having to step over a hurdle to get into the tent!
We bought in such a rush that we didn’t check all the details… fools that we are! So we didn’t realise until we put it up how well it’s been made. Good quality zips with velcro fasteners, good materials, strong poles and some nifty features – such as the skylight which we didn’t even know was there until I read it in a review here! Two extra side doors with canopies, which make it beautifully open and cool in hot weather. Also has the advantage that we can move to a different side when the sun moves round or to get a different aspect of the view!
Haven’t used the tent in bad weather yet, only light rain, but so far it’s brilliant. It’s made camping a delight!

This tent is really large, a massive living space for 4 persons and so comfortable thanks to the sown in groundsheet. With the window blinds open the tent takes on a greenhouse effect, and with all the doors open it turns into a handy gazebo! As in the previous review the quality is excellent, just look at the specs, you will not be disappointed, and having owned other cheaper family tents, it has been money very well spent. Well worth a look, easy to put up, loads of headspace, even a roof light to stare at the stars! Comes with fly screens on the side doors, a really nice touch and the little rain cowl extensions over these doors is a delight to behold in the wet. With the Aztec awning extension on it becomes a small palace, this product is something to be proud of.

Bought my Galeria 4 in ABC camping Swansea at end of 2008 after a weeks camping in Cornwall in a smaller tent with no SIG.
The SIG was a must and the quality and spaciousness of the tent sold it to us at first sight. £200 was the bargain price we paid for it, also picked up an Aztec awning online for around £60 to give us a roofed area at the front. Used for first time in May this year and very pleased with the purchase. Sturdy poles, quality zips and material, easy to put up and take down, and best of all cosy against the elements due to the SIG. Is sold as a 4 person tent and plenty of living area for 4, able to seat 4 large adults comfortably round table and still have room to move around serving food drink etc. Highly recommended.
