First time buyer of a (family) tent, and it was a bit of a struggle to put up but am not sure if that was down to lack of experience with this size tent. But once it was up it done its job perfectly. The only complaint I would have is that the ground sheet isn't wholly sewn in as described. As the entrances aren't sealed at the bottom. The bedroom pods are though so when you do go to bed bugs cant get in but they do get in the living area. It will do us for a few years but if given the chance to try before I buy I would have gone for something else I think.

I have just purchased this tent second hand. I have not yet been camping in it. Erected on local park to see how pitching went.
This is a great tent which pitches flysheet first. The main trouble of pitching was threading the poles through the sleeves, they are so long. Other than that it pitches quite easily. There are 3 separate bedrooms, so the tent has a number of different configurations.
This tent has plenty of natural light through the windows and integral flyscreens. There are 3 separate doors, however only the two side once can be opened into a canopy if full bedroom pods are fitted. This tent boasts plenty of head room and there is a huge central are which can easily take all your bits and pieces. The bedroom pods are just that, pods which clip onto the flysheet and various other points within the tent, they are easily fitted and totally bug-proof. The tents is really a all in one as the fly sheets and groundsheet are sewn together and once erected it is just a matter of fitting the pods and adjusting pegging to avoid any tight/taut areas. Although the groundsheet is sewn in , I would not class it as fully sewn in and I dont expect it to be bug free. For a family it is a great size . I cannot comment on behaviour in wind and rain but it is from a good stable so not to many worries there.
