3 Reviews of the Mardi Gras 5

I too had problems with the stringing failing after 2 uses on one pole. However a quick trip to Go Outdoors to purchase a restringing kit for £5.40 allowed me to repair the pole in under 20 mins start to finish with enough left over to do the remaining poles. I love this tent and think its the best me and my husband have owned in over 20 years-easy to erect, lightweight and easy to use. We haven't had any problems erecting it and cant wait to use it again this year. We bought our tent half price which included the front porch (due to a closing down sale ) and has been worth every penny even if I had to restring the poles.

Amended information from the previous review that I submitted. The tent poles needed re-stringing after using the tent twice. I therefore sent the poles back for repair. Unfortunately the company I purchased the tent from has now gone into receivership. Tent poles are nowhere to be seen, very upset as I now have a tent with no poles!

A decent sized tent that meets our needs. It copes with wind and rain well. Just a couple of points. The bedroom compartments are a bit flimsy. There is no where to hang a lantern. We purchased the canopy too that goes over the front door, this is useful and easy to assemble. We have used the tent twice this year but still haven't mastered how to put it up correctly without having a floppy, saggy bit at the back.
