2 Reviews of the Morada

By: Darcyleo  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2006   Rating:

We have owned this tent since our first family camping trip in 2006. We bought it at a Camping show in London and paid about £180 for it.

We now have two children but find the size is still fine. There was enough room for all of us and the sleeping area takes 2 single airbeds with only a little squeeze!

No downsides to this tent really. It has been in its bag for 4 years until last weekend and it still looks like new. The only aspect my husband didn't like was the awning and the poles, it can be a bit unsteady, but we chose not to put it up.

This is an ideal first tent, no fancy frills just the good, solid basics.

This was our first tent, and was half the RRP.

There's a dome in the middle, with a bedroom pod either side. There are entrances both sides of the main dome with poles to keep the 'door' held out like a porch.

Either side of the doors are windows with tie-back curtains.

It's really quick to put up with fibreglass poles that terminate with ring-and-pin fixings.

The ground sheet for the main area is a typical PU coated nylon sheet. The bedroom pods are (as you imagine) with a sewn-in ground sheet (hence pods).

The pods are attached with elasticated toggles, which gives you the option of leaving one out if you so wished.

Well made, and well thought out and would definitely recommend as a first tent.
