4 Reviews of the Palacio 6

We bought this tent to start us off camping. It is very spacious and easy to put up as colour coded. Has 3 bedrooms which can be individually put in so if not needed you have more living area (quite small). The only thing we found was with it not being double skinned was a little draughty. It withstands high winds as we found out! It is a spacious light tent ideal for families. We then upgraded to the 12 berth (double skinned) tent. It is really well made. Highly recommended

We have had many great camping trips in this tent.
It only takes us 20 minutes to put the tent up, but we have had six years of practice.
The tent is still as good as new and has seen a lot of friends and family, it has stood up well to strong winds and severe rain.
We have three other tents, but still prefer this one for short and long breaks (old faithful).
It is easy to transport as it comes in a superb bag and surprisingly enough, it goes back in with very little effort.
This is a great starter tent for anyone wishing to try camping, roomy, dry, dead easy to erect, robust and stands well in any weather conditions.

Excellent roomy tent. We have two children aged 9 and 6 and it is plenty big enough. Three internal sleeping areas, still leave a substantial living area. With practice a very straightforward tent to erect. We have used it in heavy rain and it is very waterproof and quick drying. Plenty of optional guy ropes can be used. Front door can be opened up as porch.

This is an absolute tardis of a tent. Goes on and on in all weathers, robust, waterproof, ( no leaks in 5 or 6 years), huge inside, seems bigger inside than it looks from the outside.
We have camped as a family initially five , now just the three of us and cooked inside with no issues, plenty of space in the area by the door.
Takes about 30mins to get the flysheet up, (four poles to thread through the huge fly material), then you are inside and only have to put the groundsheet in, and the three bedroom pods.
I am about to buy a trailer tent now , ONLY because I need something a little quicker and easier to pitch with a lower back problem developing, but I will miss my old friend and camping buddy and hope someone else will be able to get some good use out of her. The only thing I would change for an updated version would be a sewn in ground sheet and a few more windows and a slightly better porch or awning extension.
