4 Reviews of the Sala 6
By: Highlandmum77 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2005 Rating:
We got a secondhand Aztec Sala 6 as a replacement for our previous Eurohike, which was destroyed by the wind. We have found it to be easy to put up, and although the sleeping area (divided) is a bit of a squeeze for 6 of us, the large living space more than makes up for it.
You can have three separate entrances to this tent, each with midge mesh, giving a choice depending on which direction the tent is pitched in/ which way the rain's blowing!
After owning this tent for 3 months, we have found nothing wrong with it so far!

We have this tent and have used it for about 6 years. Its easy to put up and take down and the bedroom area sleeps our family of three easily with blow up beds. Not sure you would get 6 of you in there though!
My son is only 3 so its great that we can put the divider up between us but that we are close enough to get to him if we need to without having to go into another part of the tent but allows us some privacy too. I am only 5ft 2 and can easily stand up in the bedroom area and get dressed and the living area is nice and spacious with plenty of room for cooking and dining and even playing.
It was a great buy and have been very happy with it.

I got one of these , used once, second hand from e bay and what a cracking tent it has proved to be. Easy to erect and break down and has stood up to some pretty fearsome wind and rain exceptionally well. Like most tents the 6 man capacity is a a bit optimistic but as a 4 man it is fine. The living area is spacious and I particularly like the variety of door options.
Sadly it is now discontinued but the Galeria 6 is remarkably similar in design.

Great tent. Use every year as a family of 4. Tough, spacious and reliable. Not separate sleeping areas though so wouldn't recommend for older family but good for parents with young children. Very easy to put up once you've gone through the first time arguments. Quick to pitch and break down.Really only sleeps 4-5 comfortably. Non-sleeping area gives adequate space for 4 to sit, but will get crowded with cooking equipment. 2 opening options so what ever way the people next to you have pitched you can avoid intimate contact. Good value. Good make.
