We have just bought this tent for the odd weekend away. It consists of two layers of cotton canvas - the inner with the sewn in groundsheet and then a thick outer fly.

Good quality cotton canvas - retro colouring. Big enough for three people plus a couple of bags and small cooker.

No storm canopy or rear ventilation vents. About 20 pegging points and only one rope which is a bonus!

Fairly decent dimensions for a small ridge - max height of 180cm. Tent size 285cm x 250cm.

It is quite dark inside and might get a bit warmer than a lighter coloured tent would but for what we want it for (festivals, one or two nights away max, to pitch the night before leaving when camping in our De Waard Albatros if the Albatros is dry the day before).

Haven't used it yet but I have pitched it and it took me 15 minutes on the first go.

I bought it directly from Cabanon and told them I was away for a few days, it arrived on my first day home so 10/10 for customer service.

I bought a Force 10 Mk4 a couple of weeks ago and returned it because I didn't think much of the fly sheet/general finishing.

This tent was almost the same price as the Force 10 delivered from France - this tent is far superior, ok, it is a bit heavier but I do believe that it will last a while.

The weakest points are where the pegging points are welded onto the groundsheet, other than that I can't see much going wrong with it.

First impressions 8/10.
