Excellent tent, used for 5 years, only just grown out of this one. This has stood up to everything the British weather could throw at it, including outings to various scout camps.
2 negatives, 1: irregular shaped bedrooms, definitely more of a 4 birth than 5.
2: no EHU entry point which almost all tents now have. I simply fed it though whichever door I wasnt using, and having 3 to choose from this wasnt a problem.
For a family of 3 this worked well, for a family of 5 (twin babies) this also worked well although a little cramped if the weather forced you inside. No the little un's arent so little it was just too tight so have no upsized.

Brilliant tent, used this a lot for holidays and festivals and never had any problems wih it.
Very fast and easy to put up, only took us 15mins to put up in heavy rain. The tent has a mixture of steel poles for the corners and carbon fibre poles for the roof, the design makes the tent very stable and has withstood all the British weather has thrown at it.
The tent is large with plenty of space for people and camping gear. It benefits from a sewn in groundsheet, bug mesh on all three doors, vents in the bedrooms, storage pockets in bedrooms, 2 bedrooms a 2 & 3, the 3 bed bedroom easily fits a king size airbed with room for stuff.
If the pitch size is restricted to around 20ft then no problem pitching tent and parking car along size.
This tent was an ebay bargain and while it may not be the prettiest tent or the most modern tent now, but it is still one of my favourites.

Have used this tent for 2 years and have been very pleased with it. 2 adults and 3 children fit nicely and we have even used living area in rainy weather to play board games etc as sewn in ground sheet keeps us dry, warm and creepy crawlies can't get in! Has 2 side windows which means you can sit back and watch the world go by. With 3 doors it doesn't matter which way you pitch tent because any door can be your 'front door'. Lovely to have a tent you can stand up in full height throughout. Only draw back we found was that pods have irregular shape. But only a small problem. Overall great tent. Would buy Coleman again.

This is not the prettiest tent, this isn't the biggest, smallest or most flash bells and whistles tent in the world.
What is it? It's a Fantastic Coleman tent in 5 berth, big bedrooms easy room for 2 adults and 2/3/4 kids and loads of stuff, good quality, sturdy metal poles, goes up in 1, SIG, see through windows with curtains, 3 breathable vented doors with mesh panels for bugs, will stand up too anything the British weather can throw at it.
My only issue was the instructions, look at the pictures and ignore the directions.
Can be put up by one person in about half hour, quicker if packed with all the bedrooms in already (i leave them in)saves alot of time fiddling about.
I bought this as a second hand tent off ebay as new (they traded tenting for caravanning, a common occurrence) and I just love it plenty of space, tall and airy, warm and dry even in bad weather.
The overall size is brilliant, never any extra charges, penalties or issues with it's size as some sites restrict pitch sizes to 20, 21, 25 feet etc and always managed to get my car on next too it.

We have used this tent many times in a variety of weather conditions (gale force wind and rain in 2009) and have found it to be very sturdy and without water leakage.
The tent is very easy to pitch in fine weather, less so when the wind goes beyond force 4. The centre pole is very difficult to fit when the tent is up and as suggested previously should be put in place before raising the tent. Fully agree with the tent being under tension, but feel this helps with the waterproofing - in so far as pools of water don't form on the roof and also keeps the tent sturdy in high winds.
One flaw is that the green and yellow poles cross over causing wear and tear on the pole sleeves.
Plenty of room inside the tent makes for a comfortable experience and a bonus is the SIG which helps to keep the dog from wandering!

I think this is a great tent. It`s quite easy to set up so long as it`s not too windy, but very sturdy once up. Plenty of room for a family of 4, but forget it being a 5 berth. I like the fact you can stand up in the bedrooms and the choice of 3 doors. I even managed to adapt my Hartford canopy to fit it, using the porch poles from my Hartford L which made it even better. For £100 can`t go wrong.

We purchased this tent as we wanted a more space and not having to crawl into as our previous tent. Brilliant sized front area. I agree it is not a 5 man tent. Maybe a 2 adult and 3 toddler tent. I have always said to my husband that the tent was rather taught in areas. And after reading previous reviews I'm glad I was not the only one. 3 draw backs - 1. Is the weight of the tent when packed 2. The boot space it takes up in the car and 3. The height of roof when trying to fasten the pods ( I am only 5ft 3)! Otherwise very sturdy in windy weather.
Just to let you know, my husband has taken off 2 inches from the yellow and green poles and it certainly has made a difference. Thank you to those who suggested this. I will get some pictures taken to upload onto here.

Really love this tent, second tent owned but with a little one needed the space. The 2nd bedroom great for toddler. Main bedroom fits double airbed in with easy space for items either side. Rained when we went away and no problems with water coming in anywhere and it was heavy rain. Main area large and spacious for fridge table, chairs and cooking area. Pockets great and love the added arm to windows so you can keep them open in the day. Also love the flysheets so air can get to the bedrooms without any bugs, not that thats much of a problem with fully sewn in groundsheet. Overall very happy!

Great tent, very sturdy and spacious, just use it as a couple so just use the one bedroom. Would be a squeeze for 5 people.
Instructions for putting the tent up not great, hence took ages the first time but once sussed it it can get the main structure up in about 10 minutes. A bit tricky to put up in windy conditions, but then so is any tent. Definitely need at least 2 adults minimum to put the tent up.
Once pitched up we have always been happy in the tent so far. Has stood up well to the British weather, huge living area, plenty of options for ventilation and opening up the front area. Lots of pockets and places to hang things, all in all a well made solid tent, should last for years to come.

Good tent for adults as can easily stand up inside.
After reading several reviews and finding the tension on fabric straining corners, used the trusty hacksaw.
(Approx 2 ' from green and yellow poles)
Result - Tent much easier to set up
