My favourite small tent to date. I've had this tent quite a few years now and it's still as good as new. It's a tunnel tent, so not quite as easy to erect as a dome tent, but it's still easy enough in dry weather.

I'm a solo camper and with a single bed, the bedroom leaves enough room for your things. A couple might find it a bit snug. The porch is really large for this size tent, allowing you to store boots, cooking equipment etc. You can also (just about) sit up in a chair in the porch if the weather is bad (I'm 5'11'/180 cm).

The only problem is the low headroom in the bedroom, which I notice more as I get older, and need to get up in the night. I'll probably get something like a Kampa Brean 3 as my next tent.

I purchased one of these tents in April 2012 and we first used it for the bank holiday weekend in Cornwall.

Putting the tent together wasn't very hard but the inner flysheet seemed to lift off the ground despite being clipped into the correct holes. The weather stayed dry and the tent was ok.

On the tent's second weekend away we went to the Brecon Beacons. Within minutes of pitching the outer it started to rain so we took shelter inside. As we were sitting there I noticed water dripping through the roof of the porch where the door zip was. I looked across to the other side and it was happening at the same point! After it stopped raining I went outside to see how it was getting in. It looked like it was coming through where the zip flap was stitched to the tent. You would have thought the seam would be taped!

Because of this we couldn't store anything in the porch or use the porch groundsheet because it would just turn the bath-tub sheet into.Well a bath.

Considering we had only been at the campsite 20 mins and already discovered our tent leaked on a weekend where showers were guaranteed, we nearly packed up and went home. We also had rain/condensation coming into the sleeping area during the night. Very strange.

The tent has now been returned for a refund. Whilst we liked the design I can't believe the seams weren't taped. We'll probably go for a similar design but maybe from someone like Vango which seem to get good reviews

All in all a great 2 man tent. The large porch on the front is great for keeping your kit in and cooking when the weather turns.

Spent a full week in this tent last Easter up in the lakes. It swallowed most of my kit but some stuff did have to stay in the car. The tent was extremely warm but the vents did a good job of keeping condensation down to a minimum.

The tent stood up amazingly well in a two day torrential downpour without letting a drop of water in, on the last morning I woke up to people franticly packing away there tents and leaving due to the rain, while I sat there completely dry!

My only gripe with this tent is that when set up on fairly level ground and everything tight the inner did sag down a few inches in the middle. Not sure if this is a common problem or just a one off.

At the end of the day it snugly fitted a king size air bed and stood up the best of the British weather and for £50 (online) what more could you ask for!

Excellent two man ten. A bit heavy for a back pack, but excellent for wha I use it for (on a motorbike). Waterproof rigid in high wind and easy to erect and take down. Highly recommended. The area for bags is most welcome, you can store your wet kit and boots.
