We bought this tent a few years before actually using it due to too much windy weather (& us not wanting to chance it !)but when we did get around to using it properly,we took it down to Bude in Cornwall last year,2014,just as the hurricane hit ! We all survived our two week stay & better still, the tent came out of it in one piece as well ! We were very impressed with it & would recommend this tent to anybody.

I've had this now for 2 years, I purchased it for £180 of Amazon in 2012 and since then I've used it 8 times from Scotland to Devon. 2 adults and kids 8 & 5. We started off with the basic tent no extensions and only using 2 bedrooms at one end this was great for space, then moved onto buying the front extension again from Amazon £50 this was great in bad weather as all muddy wet kit was left in the front and all cooking kit was also sheltered. However this set up meant no privacy dressing etc. So I added the second set of bedrooms. We set it up as two large rooms at each end of the tent (perfect we thought) but now we had to go outside to get into the front porch! OK in good weather but a pain in bad! Now this were it gets a bit mad so stick with me. I purchased the side canopy from eBay £40 that has no door and attached the front porch over that thus giving us a T shape Coleman Coastline. This tent is cracking and has not let me down.

Very happy with the tent we paid £200 of Amazon. Me the wife and two small boys have been on three camping trips in the tent now and it is holding together well, Loads of space and we bought the awning for the front which adds even more space. Its easy to put up for two people takes about 20mins. It rained a lot on our last camping trip but it stayed nice and dry inside the tent.

Purchased off eBay new, £125; mainly for full family camping in the spring and summer.
Its easy enough for two to pitch, takes about ten minutes when you've done it a couple of times. The build quality if good, sheds rain well and considering its size performs well in the wind. Plenty of ventilation points to control condensation and the roll up 'automatic' windows are excellent.
A very good buy in my opinion with enough room for the family to wait out the rain in comfort and room to move around in.

We have just spent 10 nights in our tent as previously only spent a weekend and found it great. We got the awning which added loads of extra space but means you can only have 1 bedroom set up, it did rain quite heavy and we only had a very small leak. Good points - easy to pitch, spacious especially with awning, plenty of light and warm.
Bad points - no storage pockets or hanging loops but overall a great tent!

Great size tent, not great in the rain though! Our last two camping trips have been wet and puddles appear inside the tent. Seems to leak through the doors, although they zip to the bottom, they don't zip along so if there is a slight wind, it blows the doors at the bottom and the rain gets in. Not impressed with the bag you have to try and squeeze the tent and poles into, this is a real task!

Camped at La Suze France 8/6/11 to the 18th ready for the Le Mans race.
This tent is an upgrade from the Canyon 6, which we had for a few years and served it purpose well.
Erected the tent with the recommendations from other users e.G. Hang the bedrooms zipped up before pinning the outer tent down which allows the bedroom zips to work fine without any strain on the zips and supports.
Other tips from users was to Velcro the bottoms of the doors to prevent rain coming in, our Velcro was a bit too strong and was pulling off the sticky back. But worked OK.
We used the Coleman Awnings, which was OK even with gusty winds, as you can see from the pictures.
Well for the roll up windows? They just hung down and no roll up, I think there is some thing is missing on that bit. Will have to mention it to Amazon.
Recommend a Coleman fan, as it can get hot in tents, use a variable transformer to save on batteries if you have power on your site.
We had variable weather this year with some heavy showers but overall the tent stood up well.
So we can recommend this tent also it is great value compared to similar tents of that size.

Hi all newbie here and just had our first outing in our 2011 coastline 8 deluxe which I got for 199 off world of tents. This model does have zips on the bottoms of all doors which helped keep the dogs in at night lol. We had good weather all weekend so no issues with wind or rain but I'll be back if we do :)
Easy to pitch although instructions are useless failed to get it back in bag this time but I can see where we went wrong for next.
Big problem I found was how hot it got by day. You just couldn't sit in the tent when the sun was on it, then at night quite a lot of condensation.
Plenty of room though, the wife, my 9 yo twins, myself and my lab and jack x all slept in the 1 pod with the divider removed on 2 double air beds so I have no doubts you could sleep 8 adults if needed however living space with both pods in place would be tight.
As this is my first real tent I can't make any comparisons but all in all I'm happy with this tent. Just need the porch to be in stock somewhere now :D

This tent is great as it folds down quite small so is easy to transport, yet is big enough to fit everything in.
My only complaint is that sometimes you have to pay extra as it is so large. Well worth buying all the extras e.G. The vent fan and awning. Excellent for long (1 week +) camping trips.

Got this tent as our first proper family tent. Found it on Amazon at under £200 and bought the carpet to go with it.
Pro's: Its huge and spacious inside. We endured a rainy night and no water got in through the tent so we stayed nice and dry. Fairly easy to put up.
Con's: no hanging tags anywhere for lights etc, really annoying. From the adverts I though the end bedroom pods were separate so you could have a single pod at one end rather than both - this is not the case. The porch extra you can buy for it is generic to other Coleman tents and we find it not the best.
Its a really nice tent, especially for the price. Next purchase will be an Outwell Vermont XL which is the only tent I would upgrade to after this
