Used this a few times and so far found nothing wrong it been in all sorts of weather and was still standing

We have two grandchildren (under the age of three) and it can withstand them it is strong and reliable it has two nice size bedrooms and porch (middle)area not too bad either as I am about six feet tall and I can stand up in it both in porch and bedrooms

I am not going to go on too much as the guy before me covered just about it all!.This tent has done us proud. We camped in the Lake District with it last year in gale force winds and rain storms (seriously the campsite was nearly shut down!) and it stood its ground - it was fantastic! Its very waterproof!

Its great if the weather is bad as you can stand up in it as there's lots of room even with the 2 bedrooms in so you can easily live inside it.

The poles have snapped a couple of times but the guy in the Yeomans shop said they are really good quality but this is a common thing with bigger poles (and they only cost £4 to replace and it may have been the gale force winds!)

This was a bargain as we bought it ex-display from a tent expedition for £135.00 in May in 2008, I would recommend anyone doing this to get a bargain. I think it will last us in years to come!

We used to have an Auckland 8 berth which was a pain to put up, it never looked right in fact it was a complete waste of time and money and put me off camping for life until this tent was recommended to me. I thought it was fantastic we used it for the first time last week Myself and my 5 year old son put the tent up in no time at all I was really surprised by the amount of room in it you can stand up in it with ease there's a front and back door. We generally had the mesh door down at the front and used the back door for coming and going. The bedrooms are a great size. The was 5 of us and we didn't struggle for space. 2 adults and 3 children under 5.

Its very simple and straight forward to put up and the same can be said for getting it down. I rolled it up with ease and got in in the bag with no problems.

It comes with a repair kit which includes spare poles, the pegs are good and seemed to give extra footing.

We did have some very very windy nights and to be honest we didn't feel a drought and we were still very warm so I guess that's a good sign that its a good tent. It did rain and we stayed dry so all in all its a good tent. We got ours online at a reduced price and its the best money I've spent yes it has got me back into camping and we are looking forward to using it again in the near future.

Pros,

Sewn in groundsheet,

Repair kit,

Easy up

Easy down

Value for money

Big enough for a family

Cons,

I get the guy runners thing they can be a little awkward but erm that's it really and I probably wouldn't have said that if it hadn't been mentioned previously.

This quirky tent is easy to put up with 6 poles, 4 across as ribs, one porch and one small pole inside the roof of the dome (that's the quirky bit!). The pole sleeves along the ribs are only open on one side so the ring and pin system only applies to the side with the main door, this saves time and allows for easy one person set up.

It erects as an all in one with the two, two man bedroom pods already pre-attached with the common woggle attachments.

The guy runners are a bit awkward as they don't seem to 'run' too freely when trying to adjust. I have already replaced these with a superior guy runner such as Line Loks.

The tent comes with an EHU zip to run your cable through which is more and more common these days. The airflo system is unique which should provide nice airflow in the warmer days whilst retaining the warmth on the colder days.

The SIG is zipped into the tent which is pre-attached, handy for cleaning.

The roof of the living compartment has a hook for light and a couple ties should you wish to use those. Standing room is plentiful in the living space even tall people will have no problems with this.

The bedroom pod doors have the upper have the option of zipping half way down to reveal fly mesh for added airflow.

There are two doors, main door at the front (obviously!) and a second at the rear. Porch pole are not supplied with this tent, despite some advertising it does.

The tent bag is of an ample size I manage to get it back in the bag on my own no problem. The bag also has a wet compartment on the outside.

Also supplied is a repair kit with patches of outer, groundsheet and mesh and glue. Three spare poles are supplied one for each pole size.

This is a nice size tent for a family of four as a good weekend tent. It’s easy to erect and simple to bring down. We purchased this for weekend stays, using our Hartford for long stays.

When buying this tent, January 2009, we had trouble sourcing stock, it was reduced significantly which was an attraction but stock was hard to find. I think this is quite a rare tent for whatever reason, couldn't find any reviews, we took the chance as it filled our criteria well for our shorter weekend stays.

PROS

- You can stand up in it

- Good living space

- Vis a Vis style (bedrooms opposite ends of the tent (good for some privacy at night, for reading!) :-)

- Quick all in one erection

- SIG (zipped!)

- goes back in the bag easily

CONS

- Bad guy runners (replaced easy enough, 15 minutes replacing)

- Porch a wee bit small for taking off shoes in the rain! (Clutching at straws here!)

That's about all the Cons I could come up with!

All in all a great tent.
