3 Reviews of the Japura
By: Pjful Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2008 Rating:
Recently bought this, very quick to put up, big enough for three, wouldn't like to squeeze four in though! Very happy with it as we wanted something for 2/3 night stays and it folds into a very small holdall. Only snag was had to return 1st one as fly sheet torn, but as from Argos they swapped without any hassle, much better than through a camping dealer as they insist on sending away and your stuck without a tent in the meantime. This is our fourth tent and each one has gotten smaller as we realised we don't need a big 6 berth for quick camping also will always buy from Argos in future, just so easy, also did great deal with a windbreak half price.

This is my first tent so I can't compare it to other tents. It's big enough for two adults to be cosy, easy to put up (and take down) by one person (and I am short) and it packs away very easily.
This tent has seen us through hot and cold; including a very windy and rainy night in the middle of Dartmoor.
Although I love this tent, when it comes to getting an upgrade I will go for something that I can stand up in and that has an area to sit under in the rain!

Great tent for 2 or 3 people, managed to stay dry over the summer even in wind driven rain, the hight is a little low but you can still easily sit up in this tent.
Packs away easily and can easily be erected alone by a taller person, smaller people may need a bit of help.
I would say this tent is good for a first taste of camping or for the kids in the back garden its cheap and fun but good enough I think to see you through a very very wet weekend.
