2 Reviews of the Libra X1 Connect
By: Lellncraig Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2013 Rating:
I bought two of these tents from Yeomans for £39 each so that my son and I can go backpacking. I was really impressed with the compression sack and it's wide opening, small tents can sometimes have really tight fiddly bags to get them back into. The design is great for backpacking, took us less than 3 minutes to put up first time, and the fixed pole and in-one pitching is ideal. Space is what you would expect from a one man tent but there is room for a rucksack and a pair of boots in the porch, and with pockets at each end and a hanging loop in the centre it has everything you need for overnight stays. The pegs supplied are not the strongest and I will be replacing them but that is my only grumble with this fab little tent. The only weather we have encountered so far has been fine but with HH of 4000 for the fly and 6000 for the groundsheet it should be ok in the wet. Very pleased it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Very light weight it cost me £50 from Winfields, easy to put up east to take down my record so far is 1 min and I wasn't rushing.
This tent has both an inner and out sheet with both a sewn in ground sheet and a bit that can be removed.
The inner tent come out easily so it can be washed.
Backs down to a very small size.
Totally splendid tent.
