Just back from a 2 week trip in this tent, overall it did what it says on the tin, or bag in this case.

There are a couple of things that Coleman could do to make this tent better:

Lattan hock at the front of the tent

Velcro on the inner window covers to keep them in place

This is just a couple of things I picked up on.

The tent held up well in very windy conditions.

The Pinto Mountain 5 Plus is an easy to pitch, tunnel tent offering families comfortable and spacious accommodation on the campsite.

With full head-height throughout and extremely generous dimensions, this tent offers plenty of space for comfortable outdoor living. The extra-large large living area can easily accommodate a family-sized table and chairs, as well as providing plenty of space for bags and camping gear, perfect for relaxing together, whatever the weather.

This family tent has the added benefit of featuring our revolutionary BlackOut Bedrooms which block out up to 99% of daylight, helping you and your family get a longer, more restful sleep, whatever time you choose to go to bed or get up in the morning. Coleman BlackOut Bedrooms also help to maintain a comfortable internal temperature, keeping the tent’s bedrooms up to 5 degrees cooler during the day, and up to 1 degree warmer during the night.

For easy access and exit, the tent has an ingenious full-height door with a drop-down section providing a totally flat entrance, perfect for buggies, wheelchairs and to prevent the family from tripping.

The impressive 4,500mm hydrostatic head rating on the flysheet combined with the strong and waterproof PE groundsheet will ensure that you stay dry, whatever the weather and the porch over the door gives shelter while you unzip your tent door.

The addition of Coleman’s UVGuard with an SPF50 will protect your family from the sun’s ultraviolet rays and the tent’s fabric are also fire retardant.

Extra security is provided thanks to the zipper stoppers on the tent doors, this ensures that zips are always within easy reach in the event of an emergency, even for children.
