I was given mine by someone who went abroad twice. Both times he had a yellow pole split. The problem is known to Coleman as they will replace them free of charge. They must also be aware because later ones come with free extra yellow poles included. Yet they refuse to do a recall on this obvious Faulty design. The problem is the thickness of the poles that you have to bend in a arch to fit. The tighter the arch the thinner the pole needs to be, They use a thick pole on the biggest arch, A thinner one on the Middle arch then go back to the thicker ones for the tightest arch. I have bought a set of thinner poles to replace them but as yet have not put it up. It should sort the problem. Everyone says Very Nice tent apart from the pole problem. Mine will be tested on Dartmoor

Bought this tent second-hand and its easily large enough for us and our dogs in my opinion an excellent all-rounder with plenty of space , also easy to put up and take down we loved it and will keep using it well worth a look if you are in the market for a tent.
The bedrooms are a nice size and will easily take a double airbed they are also dividable with a detachable partition. Our tent is around 10 years old and is still waterproof a testament to the quality of the materials and manufacture.

This tent is huge and easily accommodates our family of four. Have used 3 times a year in UK,Spain & france since purchase 3 years ago. Easy to put up with two persons takes 30mins. The sleeping pods are very generous with room for double airbeds and storage galore. Due to the size some UK camp sites charge double or won't exempt on French/Spanish sites. Not the most waterproof tent ( previously owned a Vango) but once waterproofed fine. Ours is a pale green colour which adds to a spacious airy tenting experience. Reluctantly trading up to a slightly smaller tent to fit on Spanish and French pitches.

After taking 2 kids and two (large) Adults camping in a 4 man tent. WOW this was like Beckingham Palace (And I did mean Beckingham not Buckingham). Large Living space in the centre, three pods - rear and sides, plenty of space of all four of us, and our gear! Sturdy and secure, I always feel safe in this tent (and I'm a big scaredy cat), even in France during massive thunder storm with torrential rain we stayed safe and sound. Most we've had living in the tent was 6 of us, and still plenty of space - even when it was pouring and we were all stuck inside. For families - Brilliant. It allows mum and dad that wee bit of privacy which is always nice!

Large living space. Has with stood some really strong winds/rain. Have had a few poles split but Coleman have replaced them with no fuss. Wouldn't want 9 people staying in it. We find it fine for our family of 4. Ours is a little bit dark but I believe the newer ones have more windows. Bedrooms plenty big enough for double airbeds and room for some belongings.

Great tent initially then fibre glass poles snapped/split. Seems to be a problem with this coleman, therefore would not recommend

A great tent for families on long breaks. Lots of space and headroom. Spec says 9 berth, I would comfortably say 4 to 6 max.
Not as quick or as easy to put up as some, but once up and guyed out will easily withstand reasonably strong winds and heavy downpours. The living area poles are steel, so it takes two to erect this tent, but this gives the tent great stability once up.
One problem is its footprint - 5.8m by 6.9m at the widest points. As it's a dome style with 3 pods at east, west and south (taking the door as north), some sites class this as a large tent and charge two pitch fees.
The living area is huge, approx 2.3m by 2.6m. The bedroom pods are 2.1m long by 2.6m at the widest (entrance to pod), narrowing to 1.2m at the outer end, which is why it only really comfortably sleeps 2 in each pod and not 3. We used 2 as bedroom pods, and the third for storage and the porta potti at night.
Groundsheet is standard style, not sig or bathtub, so can get a bit draughty, and this only covers the living area. The bedroom inners are all in one style which hang from the flysheet on elastics. We made a footprint groundsheet from large tarpaulins to keep the underside of the bedroom pods (groundsheet type material) clean to prevent missed mud/damp transferring onto the fabric of the top part of the inner when packed away.
A good all round family tent, with plenty of living space for wet days.
