I bought this tent 2nd hand last year, used it this Easter Weekend during very mixed weather, and it was amazing. Not a drop of rain came in, no condensation, and it stood firm in heavy wind. I now mainly use tents with a centre pole, so it took a little longer to erect than those, but caused no problem to me on my own. There is lots of ventilation, as is usual for Coleman tents. Pity there isn't a mesh vent on the semi-circular front window, or even a plastic window would be nice here. There are no mud-flaps on the porch area so a fair gap under the walls, but to me, this porch is just to protect the actual sleeping area of the tent, which is very roomy for 3 people, you can actually fit 3 narrow self-inflating mats in. One other improvement that could be made would be the inclusion of a loop to hang a lamp in the inner.

The Quartz has only one door, whereas the Phad which is the updated version has one on each side. This would be a great improvement, but for the money I paid for the Quartz, am very satisfied with it.
