Used this tent over the Easter holidays for 5 nights in all sorts of weather. Rain stayed out, guy lines stayed in. This tent would comfortably suit 2 people, 4 if your only sleeping in it. I loved this tent, it looked smart, felt strong and comfortable. Black out bedrooms were cozy. I fitted 2 folding chairs and a small table next to the large window. Very impressed with the quality😊

By: JOCUKCamp Reason: I've used one Made in: 2017 Rating:
Used one of these for the first time this weekend. Quality control not brilliant, 2 missing guy ropes and one pole had one too many sections, mine was fixable, but I'm glad I didn't get the next one off the production line!
Pitches easily and quickly enough if the instructions are followed. You must put all 4 poles in before bending the shape up. It's not obvious, but four small straight keys have to be inserted up into the bottoms of the poles to fix them in place. Good quality tent pegs supplied.
Black out sleeping areas are pretty good in terms of keeping light out, but a certain amount comes in during daylight hours at the top through the mesh sections. No torch light gets out of them in the dark though. There is an air vent in the top which covers a mesh section right in the top of the roof.
We endured a windy, rainy night and the mesh area at the top let the rain in around its cover (which flexed in wind a lot) on this brand new tent. We weren't deluged, but there were small puddles on the living area ground sheet in the morning. Also, the rain soaked through the tent fly material on one side and I am now going to re-proof it after two nights use. The mesh sections in the bedroom also let the odd sprinkle of damp inside - to be fair it was an horrendous night, and all told I did expect far worse performance. It stood valiantly in the strong wind though far exceeding my expectations - I checked at 03:30 and was astonished to find that I needn't have bothered. All guy ropes and tent pegs were sound.
At 5'9' I can stand in most of the tent, and there is a good living area for two people. I think the advertised 4 adults and it would be getting rather 'snug'. I felt that short cooking gear would be OK inside, but didn't use my stove on legs as it felt too close to canvas for safety. Two small chairs would be OK, but probably not enough room for a small table. With two adults. It might be useful to take a tray for the floor to put drinks down flat etc. Sleeping spaces were certainly large enough for 6' airbeds - we used single put-up canvas 'beds' and fitted these in.
In short not a bad tent at all for the cash. Would do two adults regularly for a weekend or maybe a small family with a young child. Stands-up to weather, particularly gusty wind, but needs some Tender Loving Care (TLC) in heavy rain.
