I bought this specifically to take away for short walking breaks, pitching at campsites as a base. It is quick and easy to pitch and has plenty of room for one and kit (rucksacks, cooking etc). Two + kit would be a squeeze, 3 even without kit would be impossible.
I've used this in torrential rain and it holds up very well with no leaks. The front has a small porch area but this is not much use and doesn't keep the ground dry so don't leave your boots there! I would suggest taking a small ground sheet to put at the entrance.
It's a good tent and really easy to pack away in it's drawstring bag. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.
