1 Reviews of the Valley

Purchased the Combi Camp in October 2009. This was the single Kingsize bed version which gives you a single bed 8ft x 5ft.

Other bed options are available some of which give you a settee for use during the day, however these options do reduce the hardtop living area when the beds are made up

The basic cabin setup takes just a couple of minutes once on site and the trailer is level no pegging is required. A couple of things that are useful are a spirit level and some levelling blocks.

If the pitch is not level these can be wedged under the roof rack which becomes the base when opened and stops the floor from bouncing and reduces the stress on the hinge.

The main cabin has doors front and back, with windows opposite the bed. Within the sleeping compartment are 2 mesh ventilation panels which have external canvas covers thereby stopping drafts and rain.

The main unit frame is sprung loaded thereby providing a cushioning effect to the canvas in strong winds.

The cabin has a small living area which is off the ground this is about 8ft x 5ft and is carpeted.

The awning consists of roof, 2 side panels and the front wall which all zip together. We always left the awing roof zipped on to the main cabin when packing away as is it made setup of the awning a lot quicker and did not hamper closing of the trailer at all.

The awning frame consists of three telescopic poles coming out of the main unit to which were attached front angled joints with interconnecting poles and legs.

The awning came with 2 storm poles and a veranda pole. There are doors at each side and the front wall so the choice is yours as to your entrance.

Setting up the awning and pegging out could easily be done in 20 minutes. If you had to attach the roof first add another 10 minutes.

Compared to some trailer tents and folding campers the awning is very simple to set up.

A ground sheet is required for the awning.

The kitchen is fixed easy to use and well organised, the original baskets however were made of ratten and suffered from mold over winter guess we should have removed these, think the issue was due to kitchen being metal thereby resulting in condensation when stored in the open.

There is storage under the bed (250 litres). We also used to store equipment on top of the bed you just need to make sure you leave 9 inch gap around the bed for the frame to go in and that all items are below the height of the trailer wall. I would say that you can get more on the bed than under.

A Side and Rear annex are available to attach to the cabin to increase sleeping capacity if needed.

One thing that I would have preferred is being able to close the blinds/curtains from the inside, unfortunately you have to go outside to close some of the awning windows which is not ideal.

We were very happy with the quality of the Combi and its versatility

Manufacturer's Description

The Combi-Camp Valley is the perfect setting for a family holiday. The family may be close to nature, but no comfort is spared; what with a complete kitchen, living room and bedroom for mum and dad. The children have their own bedroom, of course. A holiday in a Combi-Camp is one the whole family will remember because they were all able to relax. It is easy to tow, quick to erect and stow away. And no-one will forget those cosy hours spent in the sun and later on in the awning, where the family enjoy their evening meal. Awake the following morning to the song of birds, while the wind gently tugs at the tent cloth - you really are on holiday.
