1 Reviews of the Kielder 4 Air
By: Craigh415376lxe Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2020 Rating:
A solid built 4 berth tent, with sufficient internal headroom for a 6' 2' tall man to use comfortably, although the bedroom area does slope at the rear.
Very easy for one person to erect on their own (in non windy weather conditions) and takes about 30 to 45 minutes to inflate and peg down.
I also purchased a ground sheet (which keeps the tent base drier and cleaner), an internal carpet (to keep bare feet warmer on colder days/nights) and the Kielder 4 vestibule (which gives greater flexibility by enclosing the front porch).
The hardest part is inserting/removing the canopy pole, the only pole in the tent!
The standard pegs are a little 'light weight' and bend easily but simple and cheap enough to upgrade these.
Overall I'm very pleased with the tent, the sturdy construction, the solid feel (when erected) and the ease of use for a single person camper.

Manufacturer's Description
The Kielder 4 Air is ideal for smaller families and groups, providing comfortable sleeping for four persons in a compact value for money package. A tunnel design tent full of useful features and a spacious living area. Daylight ceiling panels allowing much more natural light to permeate into the tent keeping things light and airy. The living area is further enhanced by the large Crystal Clear windows allowing for great views and mesh side door providing comfortable bug free ventilation. Weather protected ventilation can be found at the front and rear of the tent and the large front canopy further adds to the space this tent gives you, as well as giving you a larger weather protected entrance to the tent. Darker material is used towards the rear of the tent, keeping the sleeping pods darker and limiting the amount of early morning light aiding your nights sleep. Other practical features include inner tent dividers for a flexible sleeping arrangement, inner tent organiser pockets and cable entry points. Blinds stowed in easy-store pockets beneath the windows can be used to cover the windows.
