1 Reviews of the Travel Pod Mini
By: Spike90 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2012 Rating:
This tent came with one fault, the waterproofing was bubbling above the door, after its second use the zip pull had come off, there was a whole in the ground sheet and the poles were missing rubber stops on the end that prevent them from ripping the material. I also noticed the inner bedroom didn’t have matching fittings with the ground sheet. I sent the tent back to Camperite who passed it to Kamper for repair. Kampa came back and said they would repair the whole in the floor as a gesture of good will. I stated to Camperite that I wasn’t happy with this as none of the other issues were even being considered (Tent isn’t even 12 months old yet) Camperite came back and said their final offer was either fixing the whole in the groundsheet only or sending me £100 (tent was £179) I said I wasn’t happy. I expect a fully repaired tent or a full refund but if that was Camperite’s final offer I would begrudgingly accept the £100.

Manufacturer's Description
The ideal drive-away awning for the smaller camper van. The Mini is ideal for touring as its compact dimensions make it quick and easy to set up and dismantle. The Mini comes with a fully sewn in groundsheet, to keep bugs and draughts out, and comes complete with a two berth inner tent that can be used if sleeping accommodation is required. The Mini is freestanding and can be connected to the vehicle in one of three ways – pole & clamp, beading or guy line method. The rear tunnel height is 190 cm with adjusting straps to take up any slack. The awning has large panoramic windows all round to let the light in and for a great view out – they all have roll away blinds. Folds into a compact, oversized carry bag.
