2 Reviews of the Walnoot
By: The folly Dutch Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2014 Rating:
The tent is spacious and we bought it for intensive use. The price then was 1200 euro incl. The sun shade. Last year we used the tent for the first time and the ridge was torn. We returned it for repair. This year we had the same experience. The ridge again was torn during the time we used the tent (2 weeks). I have been camping for over 40 years. Using several types of tents. Cheaper and more expensive than this Esvo tent and never had this experience before. I do not trust this tent to be watertight after this years and last years experience. Too bad, e were so happy with the tent when we bought it at the factory.

The price is in euro and I've no idea when it was first released but the website wont let me leave it blank.
The sale price is 959Euro.
I'd have given it a ten except for a few points, it needs zips if you buy the canopies and the sun canopy should be long enough to reach the floor when the hatches are battened down( I enquired about zips and could/should have had them fitted in the factory but was advised by ESVO they weren't needed. They are).
However, free postage big plus!
If we need a pup tent I think we'd be going back to Esvo for one of their smaller offerings.
Easily big enough for our family of 4 plus dog and packs into our Fabia plus roofbox better than our frame tent(less poles).
On a test pitch I managed to pitch it totally and pack it in less than an 3/4 of hour, quality bags that the whole tent fits back into without a struggle.
Pricey BUT we've bought this to last.
