I am really impressed with this tent. I bought it for motorcycle touring, and the features and ergonomics are just perfect for that. The design is very well thought out.
The porch area is big enough to change out of your waterproofs and boots, so you don't track water into the inner tent. Plus if you fold back the porch groundsheet and open the front door, you can sit in there to cook if it's raining.
The flysheet-first pitching is a major bonus when it's raining too.
The ventilation is very good. There are two large, mesh-covered vents in the roof; two vents in the corners of the porch above the windows; and the inner door has a full-size mesh bug screen so you can get plenty of air flow between the porch and inner tent.
Criticisms - well I guess one would be that the hydrostatic head is only rated at 1500mm, you can get higher HH ratings at this price. That said, this tent has kept me 100% dry in some pretty torrential rain, so I can't really fault it for waterproofing. To be honest I think the large porch is probably of more practical importance in keeping the sleeping area dry than the HH spec.
My only other criticism would be that it has fibreglass poles, which aren't as robust as aluminium ones, but they are pretty standard at this price point.

The Eclipse 300 pitches outer first. This dome tent features a third pole set away from the main tent to create a large extended porch. This useful living area includes a groundsheet and has plenty of space to access stored gear – perfect for activities like motorcycle camping, or any number of outdoor pursuits.
