Bought this tent for archery comps as our sunncamp tourist 12 xp was way too big for one or two people even with loads of archery gear.

The tent was £50 from go outdoors ( bargain of the year).

I pitched the tent solo in just under 30 minutes in light wind and the same taking it down.

There was a small leak on the stitching above the rear door but then for £50 you cant complain and the rain was that bad we thought the river was going to burst its banks, so all in all pretty respectable.

The sleeping compartments are a great size but the living space is on the small size for a 6 berth tent, but if you buy this for a family of four with two young kids who will probably spend their time lying on the beds either reading ( yeah really likely these days) or on the handhelds then space is great.

The groundsheet does not fit great but I have seen worse, I would recommend looking for a universal extension to go over the rear door and then use the area around the front door for cooking/storage.

To sum up if you can get your hands on one for under £100 new or secondhand buy it quick and run before they change their mind.

I have given 8 out of 10 because after all not everyone could buy it at £50 and at £200 it was way overpriced £150 would have been more appropriate.

Was looking for a first tent for a young family. Didn't want to spend a fortune and got this for £50. Well worth it! Very spacious, quite straightforward to put up. (30 mins approx) and it even goes back in its own bag if you leave the poles out! The two bedroom pods are very spacious and easily hang inside the tent. We are a family of 5 and have enough room in it for a weekend stay.

On the downside, the wind can get in, as it has a detachable ground sheet and no matter how many times I use it, cannot get the 'front door' to look right when its closed. Always looks a bit creased!

Great tent for starting, although you may want to upgrade later on if you enjoy camping.

We bought this tent for £49 from Go Outdoors in February this year, We are new to camping so didn't want to spend a lot of money in case camping didn't suit us. But I'm glad now we got this one, what a bargain, the money we saved buying this one allowed us to buy the rest of the gear we needed to start us off.

The tent we actually went for priced at £225 was sold out but the sales assistant asked if we had seen the Easycamp Parma 600 in the doorway, at only £49 we'd be daft not to buy one, if we didn't like it for that money we could afford to drive off and leave it on the campsite. (full marks to the assistant).

I was very surprised how quick and easy it was to put up for a novice. Would recommend it to anyone

WOW! Absolute bargain at only £50 from go outdoors store. This tent is a great size but is better used as a spacious 4 man than a 6 man.

The living area and the extended porch is great for going away with friends and provides a great atmosphere. This is just one of the reasons we love it so much.

We go camping all the time just the two of us and use the other half to store all our luggage in. Though a bit tricky to put up we manage to do it between the two of us in an hour.

The extended porch provides extra space that other tents do not offer.

This tent is completely water proof as we found out after a thunderstorm and torrential rain.

The bag supplied is a god send as even if like us you cannot fold a tent up. The bag is huge and can easily cope with the spacious tent.

Definitely recommend this tent to any one even if there is just the two of you.

We brought the Parma 600 after a visit to our local go outdoors camping store after seeing it on display and on sale for £50 and for that price we couldn't say no. We wanted to pitch the tent in the garden for practise before we do it for real on our hols but because of the weather(rain) we decided to go back to the camping shop to see how the display model was like in the rain bearing in mind this was only 4 days after buying it we were surprised to see they sold out and even the display tent had been sold!

To cut a long story short we did get a chance to pitch in the garden and we are absolutely delighted with it plenty of room in living area and bedrooms. The whole tent took about an hour to put up at our first attempt. This is the bargain of the year for £50 huge credit to Go Outdoors for making camping affordable for all! A must buy if you can find one!.

Well I went to view one of these tents as the price at the time was so good. Since I stand six foot two, the fact that I could just stand up in the centre sold this tent to me straight away. Despite me having two other tents I bought one.

Having used the tent I can say for the money I consider it great value. Having used it in the rain I found it waterproof, although the door design is not perfect for access in rain, but lets be real here what tent is perfect, Anyone can nit-pick. I found the indoor space great and although it is a six berth I use it on my own. The assembly instructions are ok but could be better and a little more detail. It does state that two people are required to erect this tent and this is true. Although I have twice assembled it on my own, I cannot recommend such a action nor would I think it safe in high wind to attempt a one person assembly.

But I found this tent very comfortable to sleep in and I found the sleeping pods good. I could happily recommend this tent to anyone, if you see it in a sale snap it up.

When it comes to packing up, just take your time and think it through as you roll it up, the supplied bag has plenty of room.

We purchased this tent for occasional weekends and festival use after throwing our 3 man tent away on the way off the Glastonbury site last year.

We had a number of requirements and it seemed to meet most of them:

• Two bedrooms

• Standing room

• Accommodate 2 people in comfort and have room for 2 dogs for weekends

• Sturdy but not excessively heavy

• Minimal guying required

• Decent quality, but cheap enough not to fret over if it gets wrecked at a festival

There are plenty of tunnel tents on the market that met most of our requirements, but fall over with the guying issue.

The tent is fairly quick to erect. About 40 mins the first time, but a lot quicker the second. Poles are colour coded and the tent is essentially self-supporting once the 4 main ones have been slotted through. It could probably be put up by one person at a push, but it would be entertaining if there was more than a slight breeze due to the sheer volume of fabric. Taking it down is very fast and easily done by one.

The tent is very stable, and has coped with east coast winds without any guy lines. We have had heavy rain and no sign of any leaks. There was a bit of pooling in one area of the roof the first time we used it, but nothing came through, and that was sorted by adjusting the tension straps on the ring and pin system.

Inner tents are attached by clips, and can be left in situ for “as one” pitching. Inners have sewn-in groundsheets and there is a standard groundsheet for the central area.

There are two doors to the outer, one can be used as a canopy – poles supplied.

You’ll never manage to fold it down as small as it EasyCamp did, but the supplied bag is more than big enough.

Manufacturer's Description

The manufacturer has advised that this model has been discontinued.

Thanks to its two spacious inner tents, the Parma 600 family tent comfortably sleeps up to six people. The generous porch extends the living area and creates extra space for stowing luggage; its windows provide a fine, unhindered view of the world outside. The additional rear entrance provides quick and easy access and together with the six air vents ensures good ventilation all round. The Parma 600 is a dome design that is compact and reassuringly stable in high winds, and virtually freestanding.
