I brought my tent from someone on gum tree for £50 as a first tent for me and my family to try camping - it was a big success.
There is so much space in this tent, a good height that my husband who is 6ft Anne can an stand up fully in it, space for the kids to play and for me to not feel like they are under my feet too much. My tent has two double bedroom pods side by side and a another pod that goes at the other end of the tent. I love having the two double pods side by side - having young children it's nice to know they are close if they need something while letting me have my own space at the same time - we've yet to use the third pod but by not putting it up it gives us that extra space.
This tent does not have a sewn in ground sheet but this didnt seem much of a problem as long as it is pegged fully - held up to the rain and kept us nice and dry.
This is quite a large tent but I was able to put up fully by myself in under an hour including bedrooms and ground sheet.
Me and my family have enjoyed using our tent this summer and are looking forward to many more camping trips with it.

We've had three camping trips in this tent after downgrading from a caravan, and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space inside.
We only ever used the tent with two main bedroom inner pods, but found it was really roomy for two adults and a large teenagers.
You can do everything you want inside this tent even when it's raining. Okay, you can't use the main door when its tipping it down, but that's common with tunnel tents. There are two other doors anyway.
As for the groundsheet, it isn't sewn in, but with it being bucket type, you can choose either to have the sides up to keep out the draughts and rain, or down to increase ventilation.
All in all, a versatile and waterproof tent and a bargain at the price!

We paid £150 in the sale for this tent from £300. Only to see back on the website from Blacks it is now at a normal price of £140.00!
Overall, it was a good tent. It kept us dry when we had a down pour of rain. The only negatives I feel is that I wished we had brought one with the groundsheet attached as there were gaps in a few place and one of the compartments which blocks the front main door needed a few more ventilations as in the other compartments. It also had a lower height range than the other compartments so next time we will know to swap our compartment with the kids.

Excellent tent stood up to some high winds and bad weather conditions, easy to pitch around 30 minutes.
Very spacious inside, pockets in all inner pods and pockets in the outer. The 2 indervidual pods are huge and all have fly doors. Porch door is another nice little aspect of this tent.
Kept the warmth in and no condensation. Fab tent for the price

Bought cheap with discount for £102 instead of £300 the groundsheet is loose not sewn in and it has 3000mm hydrostatic head, the bedrooms are 2/2/2 man not 4/1/1 but they are all big enough for a double inflatable airbed. It recommends 3 people to erect in 35 mins although I managed it on my own in 50 mins excluding groundsheet and bedrooms. It does however get very condensated in the main living area.

Bought our Eurohike Buckingham 6 tent on ebay for £99. Easy to put up, 20 mins for the main tent and sooo adaptable. You can swap the 2 smaller inner tents with the 1 very large inner tent from one end to the other. It wasnt designed to do this but adapts easily. The main living area is very big which is a real bonus. We love our tent and the space it gives us.
This site was very useful when making our choice as the feedback was all positive.

We are really impressed with this tent for the price, new to camping so we didnt want to spend too much, paid £125.
The bucket groundsheet keeps out most of the draughts so it was quite warm even in high winds. Very high wind the first weekend we used this and it stood up remarkably well, with no damage at all.Plenty of space inside, although you cant use the end door when the 3rd bedroom is up, the side doors roll up and also can be turned into a small porch area with the additional poles.
Easy to put up even for beginners like us. Overall I would say a great beginners tent.

Just impulsive bought Buckingham 8 for my first camping holiday in 20 years, after borrowing a friends 6 man Argos thing. Wow what a buy at £100, envy of the camp site, everyone made a comment on what a super tent it was and tehre was space to swing a tiger let alone a cat! 3 bedroom inners but to start we only put 2 doubles up and had ample living space, well too much living space! Then when my older son joined us we put the other double room up which was massive - both boys slept in it with double air beds and teenage junk !
The ground sheets may not be sewn in but fully fitted, no problems as previous reviews. Lots of windows and light. Flies and wasps loved staying in it too, a hazard of having all 3 doors open. Putting up was no problem even for a novice like me, my son and I (son) put up in 40 mins in the rain. When it came out bag I panicked that we would not get it up, but it was a doddle. This tent is 1500mm hydrostatic hea. The only downfall I'd find if being picky, is it doesn't have mesh doors so flies love to come in but ah thats camping and it helped me get over my fear of wasps, as I had to swat 20 odd of them!
Overall great buy well worth it now I can downsize !

As a family of four with two young children, we have used our tent several times now in all types of weather and have had no problems with it, its easy to erect with two people and once up has plenty of room for a 4 seater table. The children love it as if the weather is bad there is plenty of room for them to have their toys out inside the tent. The single bedrooms will easy take double airbeds and the double bedroom would accommodate two double airbeds. I would recommend this tent to anyone wishing to purchase a family tent, and if brought at the end of season ready for next season, then the price is fantastic from millets as little as £115 which is fantastic value for money.

Had our first weekend away in the Buckingham 8 last week and loved it! As previous members have mentioned the only thing letting it down is the lack of SIG ! The space is huge, we had the 4 man bedroom with a double airbed and plenty of space to move, then fitted a childs ready bed and a travel cot into one of the 2 man rooms and chucked all our cases and stuff in the 3rd room leaving the main area free of junk, just the way I like it! Partner still not quite caught the camping bug yet so will be a while before we upgrade but doesn't stop me looking :)

It is stable and easy to pitch, and its large windows in the living area and bedrooms give plenty of natural light and ventilation. The waterproof polyester flysheet has a hydrostatic head of 2000mm and fully taped seams. It is fire retardant and has a HealthGuard treatment, which helps prevent odours, bacteria and degradation, deters biting insects, makes the fabric more durable and increases its wicking properties.
