I purchased this in April but didn't use until last week. I had seen many reviews where there were many reports of poles snapping at first use. I put this down to people not centring the material before tensioning the poles, but this isn't the case.
It was fiddly to get the poles positioned and then tensioned. There are clips which were easy to apply, but there are 'carabiners' which clip on where the poles cross. These are not traditional and have a clip which is difficult to remove and almost impossible to reclip when under strain and certainly without nipping your skin and fingers.
The shelter was great for 3 days until 3 poles split, one of which shattered. In my opinion the poles are too long or the material is incorrectly sized and causes excessive tension.
I have returned it since returning from holiday and await the replacement Vango Danu Hub I have purchased instead.
