Its a good idea, just chuck it in the air, peg it down and your done. I got mine just to sleep in back garden, when we have guests around. As a man I found this tent not long enough to lay out straight. You don't have any space for your gear. If you want one, go for the 2man. But it keeps you dry and warm as any other cheapish tent.
We had people sleeping over so I slept in the garden with this tent. I am 5'9'ish and when I laid on my back, my head and feet where right up to the tent. For a average man the tent could do with an extra 1/2ft inside.

Easy to use and versatile - small and lightweight but this tent didn't stand up to heavy rain. Maybe it would have been better if we had re-waterproofed it but it appeared to leak along the seams. Thankfully we had blow-up beds which kept us out of the puddles!
