We've had our Eurohike Stowe for quite a few years now and it has served us well as a family of three. The tent is easy to put up even if there is one person but it is easier with two. The sleeping chamber has a sewn in groundsheet but the living area has a separate groundsheet which can get quite dirty but it's easy to clean once you get it home. It has survived some quite severe whether conditions including gale force winds. The dome is strong and flexible. There was one occasion in a storm where a guy rope got loose and the dome collapsed but then it sprang straight back up again afterwards.
The living area roof has a tendency to collect water in two puddles next to the seams. You need to be careful when opening the side door to make sure the water doesn't pour in.
Although it's no longer available it's worth considering if you see it 2nd hand somewhere.

Excellent tent. Used it all over Uk and some of Europe, also coast to coast Canada and US. It has withstood thunder and Lightning, torrential rain, skortchin heat 40C extreme cold. I have today fixed the cord in one of the poles. 1st problem since new. Off to Algonquin park this week end with it. It can be erected easily by 1 person, though someones help makes it a bit easier a bit easier. Great for 2 people, may be able to get a third air bed in at a push.

In the main most of the comments I agree with.
I am a bit surprised with the comments of use in high winds. We used it for the second time in late august 2009 in Charmouth Dorset in the strongest winds I have ever camped in in 40 years. The tent held up well (although I had to re-peg the windward guy rope in a couple of times, but this was more due to the sodden earth than the tent). The only thing I did notice was the main dome flexed downwards during really high gusts, but only to the level of the guyropes. The flexing surely saves the tents total collapse as our neighbours (and friends) who had an old rigid pole and canvas tent suffered several bent poles and a couple of broken ones, and ended up 'recycling' the whole thing! A good breakfast in the Stowe was required!
The puddling in the living area roof is common, but easily rectified by not not erecting this area too taught, which creates drainage channels in the roof (and also prevents overflexing the main dome poles).
I've been very pleased with it, but now with 2 children need to upgrade!

I've used mine a few times, fortunately not in very windy weather though.Used only for She-who-must-be-obeyed + myself to sleep in, but used by us + 2 teenogres for cooking & eating. A good all-rounder in my opinion, with plenty of room for 2 but I'm sure it would be fine if used with 2 smaller children. Didn't find any problem when used in rain, even with front open.

We bought this tent for £55 in the Millets end of season sale 2009, which was a bargain.
On our first chance to use it I was unable to help much due to recent surgery and yet my husband was able to erect it successfully alone. I just needed to hold one end of each of the dome poles as he bent them to form the dome. He did all the rest.
It was a wet and windy weekend as we were on a cliff over the sea in April, but the wind didn't seem to be a problem. But rain gathered in the roof of the living area and then periodically splashed down the sides which caused splashes inside the living area - you need to keep a strip around the edge of this area clear so things don't get wet. The sleeping area however has a sewn in groundsheet, so nothing can get wet in that section. It did cause a puddle just outside the side door as well, which was unfortunate.
There was plenty of room in the large sleeping area and we fitted a 70x70 table and two camping chairs into the living room easily and still had room to move around. It might be a bit cramped for 4 rather than 2, but no more so than any other 4 man tent I have seen.
Overall, a fantastic, easy to use tent with just that small problem with the roof which means I would be unhappy if I had paid the full £120 price for it.

I bought this tent for our first camping trip. My husband is not a keen camper so that left me with 5 children so I wanted a big sleeping area we could share, rather than individual bedrooms. I found we had plenty of space with 5 of us in the zipped up room and my eldest lad in the living area. We only went for two nights but still took loads of stuff and kept most of it in the tent, only a few bits and pieces got stored in the car. We were lucky to have good, dry weather so haven't yet tested rain or winds, so cannot comment on that, but easy to erect.

I have used this tent for short trips for three summers with my now 8 year old. A perfect size for us as he has always been able to help (one adult) put it up and take it down and adequate space inside for living/sleeping/storing and the sleeping areas are not separated except by curtain wall (was important when he was 5). I agree with comments about sagging roof, this summer the rain collected and then spilt off leaving muddy patches outside. Also with wind and heavy rain water leaked through zip of side door as flap was blown up. Otherwise no problems and have enjoyed using the tent which is great for the type of short trips we make.

Used this tent 5 times now. Nothing to add to Campingduo's review. I agree with all the comments - especially if it's windy, watch out.
I wouldn't recommend this tent, there must be a better buy. I will keep it till I've had my monies worth though!

This is an ok tent if you use it during nice weather. However it does not cope well in strong winds! Our tent was blown completely flat during very strong gusts. The front and the bedroom dome section were blown flat due to the winds and some of the poles were damaged. The design of the side door is not great either. Water can get in the zip during high winds due to the flap not being velcroed down. I think the tent would have a better chance of withstanding the wind if they had better positioned the guy ropes on the front part of the tent. They needed to be higher positioned guide ropes to protect the top part of the tent from the wind. I also didn't like the fact that many of the guyropes were two in one. Perhaps the tent would be better strengthened if some of the guyropes were separated individually. I agree with the other review in that the roof always seems to sag and as a result water collects on the top and can sometimes leak through.
Its not all bad news though. There is plenty of space in the tent and adequate living area to get two chairs and a table in there. Its also pretty easy to put up too.
This tent is ok for short breaks away from the coast and wind.

This is a great tent. Very easy to erect. Nice and spacious for 2 adults/1 dog.
Only gripe is that the roof of the living area seems to hold water when it rains.
Doesn't seems to matter how the tent is put up, the roof always seems to sag a little.
This hasn't spoilt our holidays, but assume it is 'pilot error' rather than a manufacturing fault.
Any tips to rectify this would be a great help.
