I have one of these for my two grandchildren and have had exactly the same problems as the cabanots. However it was fun while it lasted and I would probably buy another one in the future. My grandchildren found this unit quite hard to erect as they are only 2 and 4 years old but with a little help they finally managed to put it together in 2 hours. The best bit was packing up to come home it only took them 2 minutes to put it all back in to its bags and it all went in with no difficulty which is more than I can say for our main tent lol.

Was given this as a present and although it was fine over the weekend when it was dry, we did have a few problems

The door flap button is on the outside so you can't do it up when you are in it, this made it very draughty.

The poles are in one piece and don't snap apart, hence they are very long (at least 6 inch). They are also made of lightweight plastic, although there were no signs of them breaking in the windy weather.

It was a squeeze fitting both sleeping bags in, so we are slightly worried an aerobed won't fit in future.

There are no windows.

There are no guy ropes, and no pegs required. We did think of fitting 1 delta over the entire unit for peace of mind

Also being yellow it attracts bugs, which are massive. Almost the size of my head.

There doesn't appear to be a matching utility tent on the market.

It's not really very accommodating for a whole family, so we would need to upgrade should any little Jimmy's or Sally's come along

The pack size is massive

If you are considering this tent, I would look for a bigger option or maybe a playmobil camper van.
