3 Reviews of the Freedom Trail Eskdale 10

A great tent for our family of five and on a tight budget. Flexible sleep pods mean whole family can all sleep in one allowing rest of tent to be spacious living area. Has survived Derbyshire downpours, Devonshire winds and Yorkshire gales. Although recommended 2 person erection, can now put up within half hour on own with a couple of strategically placed pegs.

We purchased this tent during a sale at go outdoors for 120 pounds, it has survived the north easterly winds at Scarborough and kept us dry during a down poor way above its rating at Blackpool.
The tent pitching gets easier and faster every time we use it. Now down to 25 mins tops with 2 people the sleeping pods hang from the inside along the pole guides which are then pegged down before the ground sheet is laid. The fly sheet has ground sheets tabs which can be folded under the the ground sheet and sleeping pods, which helps keep the draft and other unwelcome visitors out of your living space.
For a family on a budget this tent is well worth a look

Just got back from our 1st use of this tent
We got this tent on offer for 149.99 and worth the money but would't pay the 350 RRP if its a cheap tent for the family then this is a good buy as the closest size tent to this is about 350-500
It has not got sawen in ground sheet it has a ground sheet that sits between the bedroom inners so for this reason you might want to get sum tarpaulin to put under the bedroom inners
We found this helped keep condensation to a min
And our feet clean
It took us 45 mins to put up 1st time and we recon we could do it in half hour now we know how
Its a grate tent for the money if its a budget tent your after this is the 1
Will update when ive used a few times with it been cheap it might go wrong easy
