2 Reviews of the Freedom Trail Eskdale 6

Just got back from our second break in this tent. Managed to get this tent on sale for £70 and what it tent it is.
Me and the missus got this tent set up in 15 minutes second time round, will be quicker again next time I imagine. The holiday this weekend the weather was atrocious, it hammered rain down sideways for 15 hours non stop which kept us awake but it didnt let in one single drop of rain, I can not express how amazed I was. The guy lines held the wind great, to be honest I think there is probably too many but we put them all in and the tent held its own now problems.
The inner ground sheet attaches to the walls of the tent keeping any splash ups of rain from entering the tent and two doors out of the tent where a great bonus. You can roll the windows up half the way to allow light into the tent during the day whilst its raining and all the way to expose the fly sheet allowing extra ventilation.
For a family such as my own we can not fault this tent at all just make sure you look at how the tent comes out of the bag. I read reviews on other sites they couldnt get it back in the bag but on both occasions I had no issues what so ever, suppose its just common sense really.
Now stop reading this and go buy one before there gone, im tempted to buy another and put it away till this one needs retiring, I kid you not.

Fantastic tent easy to put up, Took 2 people 20 mins to put up. Easiest tent I ever had and I have 5 tents, all different sizes, but this one is nice and roomy. We had bad rain and wind and it survived! Love my tent. Plenty of room in both the bedroom and living area. Really looking forward to using it again now but I think the tent is a lot more reliable than the British weather!

Manufacturer's Description
Available from http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/
A fun and functional family sized 6 man tent. The Freedom Trail Eskdale 6 is ideal for those who need a functional family tent without the extra details of more expensive models.
A three person bedroom at either end opens up onto a large central living space with external doors and windows on both sides. A removable bathtub groundsheet covers the living area and helps to keep things clean inside.
The fibreglass poles slip through roof pole sleeves and are retained with ring and pin fittings to make pitching easier. Pole clips attach the flysheet to the poles and help to stop the tent flapping in windy conditions.
A vent behind each bedroom allows air to flow through the length of the tent, reducing condensation. In sunny weather the doors can be rolled up out of the way or converted into an awning with the included porch poles.
Practical and fun, the Eskdale 6 is family camping at its easiest.
Two equal-sized bedrooms Large living area with two exits Easy to pitch
